This place includes an air-conditioned section for those seeking a cool respite from the heat. Perfect for lunch where you prefer to converse instead of eating quietly. The chicken rice costs only RM5. Some snacks to try are fried radish cake and the Kuching popiah. One of the signature dishes here is the fish meehoon, with lightly seared fish, rice vermicelli, salted vegetables, carrot slices, black fungus and the splendid broth. As far as I could tell, it's evaporated milk and vinegar that gives the dish its alluring smoothness and tanginess, with a hint of sweetness. The fried radish cake is probably the most flavourful in Sibu, while the popiah is about twice the size of the local variety. It's freshly prepared, with lots of chewy jicama and spinach, accompanied by peanut sauce. (Oct 2024) If you're thinking of sitting in the cool comfort of the air-conditioned section, make sure to order something from the a la carte section. Vegetables and other dishes to order. If not, you'd be shooed off to the...

Overall a clean place with a wide variety of disges to choose from. Good first impression with the presentation and ventilation which was aided with massive fans. Place is a bit loud due to the fans which if you enjoy a conversation, you would have to raise your voices.

There is an option for air-conditioned restaurant experience if one requires it.

I had Sarawak laksa, rated 3.75 out of 5, the taste was nothing spectacular while being what you would typically expect. It is still a solid choice.

Next is the kompia with minced pork filling, this I could stand by 4.75 out of 5. The crust is crunchy and the minced pork's flavour is well meshed with...

This restaurant has a main kitchen operating from 8am to 2pm and 5pm till 3/ 4am. They have a very wide variety of food choices. When the main kitchen isn't operating, there are more than 10 stalls which operate independently. You can get locals favorite Kampua, chicken rice, the famous Lok Lok, MeeSua, DimSum, Western chops, burgers (one can try their pork burger), Ayam Penyet and many more.. You can always get something to eat. The staffs are almost all male but the hospitality is good. Try it out. Oh, Draft Beer from barrel is...

June 2025 A closed friend hosted us dinner at this local restaurant. He brought his fresh water prawns and grouper filets. Dishes were well prepared and we enjoyed our conversation in a quiet AC dining room. My rating as 5 is very satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 4/5 Cleanliness 4/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentiveness and courteous 4/5 Will I recommend 5/5 Will I revisit Most Likely.
