Comfort Inn — Hotel in Borneo

It’s been a pleasant stay. Room is clean so is the bathroom. If you are a person who tends to wake up late, then you must be warned that there’s a knocking noise that comes from their neighbour. I’m not sure what business their neighbour does but it’s quite loud. Another thing is that the night receptionists has been very professional. I am travelling with a bicycle around Borneo and I always worry about its safety. She made sure that I felt comfortable to leave it outside in front of the hotel while she would watch over assuring me that she doesn’t sleep during her shift. I felt safe enough and I furthered my stay to two more nights. She was also very attentive and patient as she answered all of my questions also gave me tips and directions to places around the town. Paid about RM183 for three nights (double bed with bathroom).

Clean, nice, reasonably sized, hardly any traffic noise (however the door does not block out any noise, so that I could hear doors banging from either neighbours or staff). Has an electric kettle and hair dryer.

Only a few minor blemishes:

(1) It's about 4km from the city centre (but you can easily get there or back with Grab, at around RM6 or RM7).

(2) There is only a tiny 40-by-80 cm wooden table thing (attached to the wall). It would have been really nice if this had been a bit bigger so that I could've used my laptop and mouse a bit more comfortably.

(3) WiFi is decent but occasionally disconnects.

stayed 1 night in a cheapest room (I think) at rm39. the room was comfortable. The toilet equipments such as shower, toilet bowl and sink look grand for the price I paid to stay 😂. Everything was OK except for the flooring structure. You will hear the creaking sound as passerby and neighbour walking or talking or laughing. This was due to the rooms from 001 to 005 were built on a mezzanine floor. To access to these rooms, you have to take the stairs. Other rooms, you can access from the elevator.

Still 5 star because you will not experience this kind of commodity elsewhere 😁👍. please look at the video to see the room.
