Cheese & Tea — Restaurant in Sarawak

One thing about this place is that they haven’t taken away they’re stuffed furry friends hanging around the restaurant, fountain at the window and stickers on the wall. This restaurant went through some changes since my last visit back on January 2022. Sometimes this place closed for the day. Brings back all the good memories every time I visited this restaurant when I was a kid. I would always order my usual food there, chicken chop and cola. 😅

Since returning to cheese and tea, the owner knew me because I was a usual customer here. Came here for the macaroni and cheese. Really love their food, still can’t remember what this chicken chop actually tastes like since I haven’t been here in years. 😅😅 The Mac & cheese is the best, gives a mozzarella appearance. The aglio olio variant is a must try. Service can be a bit slow, even though there’s less customer when I came here. The cleanliness here is great.

The owner opened a door for me as I’m about to leave this place, really like this guy, cause I used to come here many times. I’m gonna miss their childhood environment here. Definitely will be back for more. Looking for a simple western food for lunch or dinner, visit cheese...

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! I 100% recommend it! Delicious food for great prices for value and generous portions 😋🤩 It was the only place open on a public holiday when I was doing laundry nearby, and I’m so glad I found it! I tried the excellent Matcha Milk Tea, their specialty Fried Chicken Chop which was boneless and so tasty, the Breaded Fish Fillet which was a real delicacy, and the Baked Cheese Macaroni which was also delicious! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu – order whatever you like! On top of that, you can choose from several side dishes, flavors, and even unique sauces and they give you also tasty salat in your meal.

This is a truly honest, high-quality restaurant with a warm heart atmosphere and a friendly care uncle who speaks excellent English. They also offer takeaway and delivery through Grab or Foodpanda. 2 star... comparing to the previous CnT... First up menu has shrunken down massively. Lots of the delicious items are now unavailable. Secondly food no longer taste as good. Third, the café no long has a lively, vibrant, homely welcoming vibe. Its plain and boring except for the occasional soft toy... Price of food have also gone up quite a bit... 1 star for clean environment and easy parking... 1 star for superb and friendly service by the crew... Overall i see the new CnT as a downgrade.
