Portioning can be large so be conservative in your ordering, unless takeaway is in your plan. Hot and spiciness tend to dominate the menu. Sichuan style to be exact.
Not the best of location for quiet meal as the main thoroughfare of Kuching runs by it. (Read high speed stretch) Having said this, there is a air-conditioned section to spare yourself the din. House drink can be pricey. RM6 for 'Homemade Green tea'. But if you know your mental arithmetic, meal for two is about the same as other themed outlets that are sprouting in Kuching. Good service.

Read moreIn terms of food, there are rooms for improvement, especially the signature dishes - fish, that is average and not really attract me. Whereas, the others dishes are nice, such as dry pot and stir fried dishes. Beside, the mantou is a little above my expectations, where I like is the soft texture though it is fried.
About the ambient, it is very cosy and clean. The services is good, the waiter are friendly, polite and attentive. They provide new plate when notice our plate filled with wastes and remove the dish that been empty.
Lastly, I would recommended this place for group gathering as the place is spacious and comfortable. As overall, it is worth for a try.

Read more📍Chong Qing Grilled Fish, Emporium (Non-Halal) I've frequented this location multiple times, always enjoying the charcoal grilled fish and side dishes. With multiple types of fishes being served, they have also a variety of different flavours to go with it. Our favourite would be the Mushroom Herb flavour - not overly spicy and still delicious.
Generally, fish served is fresh. Only once did I get a fish that was rather fishy (I believe it was due to the pandemic, and they just re-opened).
