Mandarin has been around for many years, but it has especially become my family's celebration venue of choice lately following their renovation of upstairs private dining rooms. The private rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable, so I do recommend if you have family gatherings. The rooms also come with karaoke set. Food wise, among the food we love is the salt baked fish, salted egg soft shell crab, steamed prawns, manicai egg and hot appetisers dish. An area of improvement I always feel Mandarin should have is also better rice quality, as the rice feels a little subpar compared to the menu served. Service staff may get overwhelmed at times, but they are still good, polite...

I love this restaurant and this is also my first time eating here. This Chinese restaurant is almost over here, like many years already. It is a great restaurant. The staff are really helpful and nice. The foods are also delicious, especially for a salt-baked fish. It is soothing my appetite. There are actually a second floor as well. It is quite big. They also have some events happening here, if I am not mistaken. I mean buffet, club meeting, etc. I said it is a great and suitable place for a family gathering. I like this place. I guarantee that i will come again in the future. 100%...

Salt Baked Tilapia & Steamed Prawn was excellent. Manicai with Egg & Sweet Potato leaves vege was great. Meat dishes a bit not to my liking. But I’m surprised and amazed by the service their waiters gave! Very attentive and alert staffs. Always came to ask if you need this or that.
