The environment was fine. Toilet was acceptably clean (with bidet). The fresh durian cheese pizza was interesting, bursting with real durian taste, but came with some weird bitter taste (I was guessing that it's the combined taste of burnt cheese and durian bitterness). The Code's choco pie was good, seriously chocolatey (not the dark chocolate kind) and thick. The black rice waffle was fine, but I would personally prefer the usual white flour waffle. Oh yea, Dad loved the loco coconut slush.

Latest addition: The Volcano Matcha, looked really pretty but tasted really horribly 😮‍💨 You can see from my picture (after I stirred away the terrible top cream) that it's not the usual matcha latte or matcha milk tea that you would expect from its look upon serving. It tasted like matcha tea with no or very little milk, and the cream on top was really bad. It tasted like heavy cream or with cream cheese, but at the wrong texture (could be frozen and then defrosted, or could be due to lower quality cream with the taste of margarine or cheap butter) - it's very coagulated or some people called it sandy. And then there's this taste of butter that just didn't go well. Even if you stir longer than usual, the cream and the matcha tea won't really blend together. Came at 2:14pm, left at 2:50pm just to order a waffle for take away.

Number of staff working: 5 Number of tables served: 4 Number of waffles made: 1

Reason: only one waffle machine. (To be honest, they can tell me that they make the waffle from scratch and I'd be able to accept it better.) Conclusion: Don't order the waffle unless you plan on buying a coffee and writing a proposal to the manager to streamline their process while you're waiting.

Disclaimer: Staff's 5 minutes = 40 minutes. I've asked at 15 minutes of waiting and the staff told me "5 minutes". I asked again at 35 minutes and staff said "wait a minute".

One of the staff was able to make themselves a drink and take a break but no one was able to make my waffle.

I ordered the "All About Love" waffle which includes fruits of the day but the dragon fruit is mushy and old. Its called "All about love" but there is definitely no love about waiting 40 minutes for a waffle which doesn't feel like it's made with love and respect for the food itself.

To be honest, I was very dissapointed. I heard very positive comments on this place and decided to try it out myself. The only good dish here that ive eaten is the souffle, which is very good. Unfortunately the main dishes are not up to standard at all. Pizza was mediocre, spaghetti was quite terrible. Everything was decent, nothing too special for me personally and dont think I will return for a 2nd try. Cashier is friendly, the rest not so. Some never smiled and do their work haphazardly. Customers have to order at the counter but no instruction at the counter for 1st comers to know. No code or numbers for the food items on the menu. Waitress did not ask whether we would prefer our dessert to be served immediately or after the main course and assumed we want it first.
