RJ Cafe — Restaurant in Sarawak

Well if you have a movie you haven't watched before because you didn't have time, this is a great place for you! It takes around an hour for simple dishes such as Roti Canai Kosong to reach your table! As an added bonus, you'll have to remind the waiter 2 times regarding your food! Otherwise your food might not see the light of day. Not only that, if you've decided to order more than two plates of Roti Canai, you'll need to remind them each time they serve you one of them, if you don't wish to spend time watching 50 movies while waiting for your food. The staff have a great variety with many talents such as the forgetter, the accuser and many more!!! While some of them somehow forget one dish after you've told them another, some will also accuse you of not paying although you've scanned your debit card on the scanner!! Amazing talents all around the cafe, although limited in the number of employees, they have many talents!! Hi, i've been a regular for RJ Ayam Penyet since there was not even a single table yet at RJ.

Since it was just a small stall located inside someone's shop, where we have to que up and there was no dine in yet, back in the early 2000's

However, my experience here tonight was one of the worst. I ordered Nasi Ayam Penyet (as i have always ordered for so many years) and tonight, the sambal that was given to us was really unpleasant and it's faaaaaaaaaarrr from the actual recipe!

Our ayam penyet's sambal tasted overwhelmingly with belacan and anchovies!

i never knew u guys even used anchovies before 🙄

When we asked the waiter abt the sambal, he told us that the Ayam Penyet's sambal is finished, so this is Ayam Bakar's sambal.

which, i definitely know it is not. I dont mind to change our menu if the waiter just tells us the truth straight away.

I hope the management takes this matters seriously as it effects not only the quality of the food, but also the integrity of ur staff.

Will still be supporting the business, but hoping improvements...

Great environment, poor service, below average food. Went there for dinner with my office team, 9 of us, spent RM300+, seated for 10 minutes no one serving, when we call for service and got treated like “the QR are on the table, order through QR” with the size of the QR barely bigger than my thumb and in my opinion not very guest friendly setup especially for a restaurant when we coming with empty stomach. I asked for a menu because some of us prefer to read from a bigger, better written menu, no one bring over, I walk to the counter to ask for a few, there were 4 sets of menu on the table, I ask for 3, cashier staff reluctantly pass 1 after 1, after 1. We ordered, food came. I have to be honest by this moment I am already a lil annoyed, ordered nasi ayam penyet, came with a spoiled sour tauhu, very turn off.
