Overall worth 2.5 stars. Food - average. Gyudon- normal rice bowl. Lack of flavour.
Okonomiyaki- more like a pan fried pancake than a true Okonomiyaki. Lots of flour. The surface was over fried and it was abit burnt. Mango soft shell crab maki - ❌ poor combo. Mango and soft shell crab in this shop doesn’t bind well. We have had mango sushi in other places but they all tasted nothing like here. The mango sushi here was very not palatable. On top of that the soft shell crab tasted like a refried item. In fact the okonomiyaki also had a very strong rancid aftertaste.
Chawanmushi was the only rather standard dish here but even so the scallop on top had a very strong fishy smell and taste.
Overall. Nothing spectacular. Price was standard. Not worth for the quality of food provided. Would suggest to avoid ordering deep fried food as the oil was rather rancid.

Read moreHad a worst experience ever dining here…we reserved a table for 3 with a name yet when we arrived, the whole restaurant was full. They mistakenly gave our table to another customer that has the same name who didn’t even reserve for a table…meaning that they didn’t even check if they have reserved a table?! There was no compensation or anything, they just said sorry and I still feel disgusted with their service as we really waited for a while under the scorching sun. The food wasn’t as good as how they were before too, I can really tell they’re not using the tempura flour today…they just fried the Yasai tempura with normal flour! How ridiculous?! The saba fish was dry and small, the bento tastes bad today! Definitely 0/5 with their everything. Won’t visit anymore thanks, I’m so done with...
Read moreFirst: Cash only outlet. May be an inconvenience to some but not a huge problem. You can get a set meal for less than RM 25 per person, may be more if one orders additional side dishes. They offer a few seating options including outdoor seating for smokers but do call and book a table in advance if you want to be seated in a cubicle-like square table. Place can be quite packed with people during peak seasons and expect some patreons to be quite loud. Food served are the normal Japanese food with a few fusions from local and other places. They don't taste out-of-this-world good and they are not bad either, just like what you can expect from normal Japanese restaurant chain. Overall for me: acceptable standard Japanese restaurant but I wouldn't visit...
