Highly recommend place for Luo Si Fen fans & connoisseur. Ratings are purely for the (basic) luo si fen and stinky tofu served here. After lamenting how there's no luo si fen shop that sells stinky tofu alongside in KL/Selangor after my wonderful experience at Melaka's Luo Meow Meow, this restaurant actually got my prayer answered. For their Luo si fen, from the broth flavour to their superb control of spiciness, it is excellent, I'd say on par with Luo Meow Meow's(LMM). LeeSan Luo si fen(LSL) definitely is subpar. For this restaurant, the ingredients are slightly different; no kangkung added in here if we compare to both LMM and LSL. Also for RM 13, here the basic luo si fen includes deep fried egg whereas for the other 2 shops you actually have to add-on. Here, they even gave 2 cooked snails in it for authenticity. And a jasmine tea drink also given together FOC (warm or cold)/person. Portion is also sufficient for a big eater, not much meat in there other than fish cake, fucuk, pickled bamboo shoots, peanuts and pickles long beans, lots of rice vermicelli. Your protein comes from the fried egg and side dishes like stinky tofu. For the stinky tofu, again above expectations. For comparison, I'll use food truck Chew Chew chou tofu(because I dislike queuing up all the way at KL/Puchong/Ampang). Yes it's smelly, but tasty. You get the option for either crispy juicy or crispy crispy, with no extra charge when you order, or be like me order both types, the chef will deliver. These stinky tofu are a great addition to luo si fen, since they do soak up the broth and you can taste another dimension to both the stinky tofu AND luo si fen. The accompanying chili is okay average. Pickled cabbage also average, it's a bit on the sweet side? Price is very very affordable to repeat my visit several times a month. The place has functioning AC, unlike LSS. And steadier chairs and table unlike both LMM and LSS with their plastic flip chairs and table. Of course the smell is apparent but that's what I signed up for so no complaints. Service is also good, the boss is observant and explained how to order. Took around 15-20mins for the food to arrive because there were 2 tables ahead of us. Parking is street parking, since I went before peak dinner time there are ample spots. Not recommended for small kids as the smell is too strong. There's other dai chow food served here, with fusion Thai food as well but I don't know...

Read moreCame here with friends and absolutely loved it! The homemade stinky tofu in luosifen soup is amazing — crispy outside, soft inside, and just the right level of stinky. Even better, they have several flavors of stinky tofu to choose from, which makes it extra fun to try.
The restaurant mainly serves luosifen but also has Thai dishes, Chinese food, and snacks, so everyone can find something they like. Free tea is a nice bonus, and the cozy vibe makes it perfect for hanging out with friends. Can’t wait...
