29 April, I ordered a Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea through the app and picked it up at the store in airport. I saw a promotional sign stating that with the purchase of one Hojicha Genmai Milk Tea, a free sticker would be given. Based on that, I asked the staff if I was entitled to receive the sticker, but He told me I was not eligible. I asked again how to obtain the sticker, and He said I had to purchase a bundle at a slightly higher price. This was confusing, as the signboard clearly stated that the sticker was free. I also checked CHAGEEās official Instagram account and found that the same promotion was posted there, which reinforced my understanding. Unfortunately, the staffās response was not only unclear but also rather unfriendly and rushed, even though there were only two customers present myself and one other person. When one of the staff came to the register and I asked if she can take my order, she told me to order through the QR code. I tried but had trouble registering. I asked her to take my order through the register as she's available and she refused. She walked away and I walked out of the queue still trying to fumble my way through the registering process. THEN, another staff just started taking order at the register so I had to line up again behind 7 people (because I still haven't resgistered successfully). So you can take order on the til huh ? She seemed awkward in the kitchen after seeing me lining up again at the back of the line. Not tourist friendly. Terrible last impression before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible service. 2 staff saw me waiting in line to order a drink. Cashier takes the order of the person in front of me and then proceeds to make the drink. After some time, including the slowest walk to refill ice twice, she hands the drink to the customer in front of me. Then turns around to me and looks puzzled as to why I'm standing there. Eventually says 'closed already'. When I asked why they didn't tell me earlier...she was blank and just smiled behind her mask. No apology. Both she and the other staff at the outlet saw me waiting and said nothing. Immediately the other people standing there including the person who was just served started saying "give them 1 star"
So here it is. 1 star for not giving a damn about making a customer stand there...
