Subway - Gateway @ KLIA Terminal 2 — Restaurant in Sepang

This review is long overdue, because this particular Subway outlet gave me the worst experience I’ve had with the brand in years. My visit in March 2023 left me with the most scarring memory of any Subway location I’ve ever been to.

The lady behind the sandwich station that day wore the longest rotten papaya face I’ve ever seen, no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. Just a dead stare as I walked in. When I asked a couple of simple questions about the menu, she looked at me like I was speaking Greek. Then she turned to her male colleague, who was just as clueless! I honestly wondered: do these kids even understand basic English? And more importantly, how on earth did they get hired to work at an international airport?

After getting zero help and zero response, while they just stood there like they couldn’t care less if a customer was even present, I walked out and vowed never to step foot in that hellhole again. Even if I had managed to place an order, I wouldn’t want people with such horrible attitudes handling my food.

02/01/2025 I arrived at the airport and I ordered food from subway there was three staff one girl and 2 men they don’t allow me to pay with my Debit card then I paid with cash and I ask for my bill they didn’t give it to me it’s clear that they wanna took the money in there pocket that’s why they didn’t provide me the bill and it was very bad experience I had from subway dear subway management please look on this things staffs are taking money to there pocket and there behaviour also made me so sad cause because of I keep asking the bill they was saying something wrong in Malaysian language this is not the way to treat the...

It's Subway! Whenever I'm at KLIA2 I always try to stop by here for a meal, although it never cease to amuse myself how difficult it is to find the place on your own if the map of the airport is the only thing you rely on.

The place is generally not that crowded, which is great if you're looking for a bit of peace. This chain restaurant is popular for their really delicious and fresh sandwiches. Price is reasonable, and the sandwich is halal, for those who are...
