The service was excellent! The server who assisted me was so nice. He asked if I wanted to change out my plate. So I ordered the hainanese chicken poached. As soon as I bit into one bite I knew it was not the kind of small natural soft chicken meat o normally eat throughout Malaysia. Instead this chicken was shot with steroids and had lines in it like when they fatten the chicken with chemicals to make it look larger than it is supposed to be. It was bad. Do not eat chicken dishes here. It leads to health problems eating that kind of chicken! Not good at all! But the service is excellent! I feel bad for whoever works here. Since the food is so bad, customers might be rude to the nice employees because the food quality is so bad. But it’s not the servers fault. It’s the owners fault for serving such poor quality chicken. If I wanted to eat steroid chicken I would have...

Lots of servers standing around, but no-one greets you or explains the system of the restaurant. You have to scan a QR code and order. Easy enough. Except that when you click confirm, a weird error message appears. You try a few times with the same result. Then you have to get up, find a server and ask what the problem is. Only THEN do they tell you that there isn't any duck rice. Ok. So you tell your family and you choose something else, and again an error message appears because something else isn't available. Annnnnoooying, since it can be avoided by a little conversation from a server as you sit down.

Then the wait, and the fact that the food comes out staggered and cold. And the server doesn't announce what they're bringing. Meal was OK-tasting but a bit bland for Hainanese flavour-packed cuisine. Then a 10% serving fee is slapped on the bill...

The staff is so unmotivated. I was standing at the entrance for 10 mins before anyone ushers me to a seat. The Chinese tea takes 20 mins to come. 40 mins for food and it's not even here. For a restaurant who wants to make money in the airport should understand people are here for to take their plane and service has to be reasonably fast to cater to the airport crowd. This is a very atrocious restaurant that does not deserve to be serving the customers although they have certain brand name. Staff does not care about any customer service and simply does not be bothered at all. I had to end up cancelling the food order as I can't be bothered to wait anymore. Simply waste of time to patronise this restaurant. I will not step in this restaurant again not it's branches. What's the point of upgrading the airport when it's shops and...

The ambiance is decent, and I managed to snag a window seat with a nice view of planes landing, which added a bit of excitement to the meal. I ordered their signature Cantonese fried Yin Yong. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. The overall taste was below average; the sauce was overly starchy, making it feel quite heavy and unappealing. The staff's attitude was not welcoming. For instance, the table was not set with utensils, and when I asked a passing employee for some chili, she responded in a dissatisfied manner and called another staff member to handle it. Although there were plenty of employees around, they seemed unproductive. Perhaps this was influenced by the current Ramadan season. I requested for an extra empty cup, they charged me RM6. This is totally ridiculous. Overall I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

I’ve dined at Jibby Chow in KL Airport twice now, and both times I ordered the same thing: their incredible siew mai and roast duck. The food quality has been consistently excellent—especially the dumplings, which are honestly some of the best I’ve had. I really appreciated the smart ordering system via QR code, which made the process quick and convenient. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and I loved the view overlooking the runway—it’s a unique touch to watch planes take off while you eat. Considering it’s located inside the airport, the prices were quite reasonable. Plus, I got a nice discount through a booking with Kepler, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're passing through KLIA and want a solid meal in a relaxed setting.

I didn’t see any floor stuff so I made my way to a table, scanned QR to place order. Beef Hor Fun was served, on top of the table was a spoon and scrambled serviette so I decided to grab the silverware and serviette from next table. Finished and very thirsty so I sat around waiting for Lai Lai Lychee… I gave up cause it took too long and pay the bill. Walked out and turn my head, realised Lai Lychee is on the bar counter which I assumed it’s mine. The stuff could have told me cause I don’t mind to spend another 5-10 minutes finish the drinks or ask if I wanna take away. Imagine the price point vs the service, this brunch might fit better to rebrand to Jibby Chow Express.
