Flight Club Signature — Restaurant in Sepang

Disappointed.

When we reach the place, it's an open-air concepted restaurant, no lounge feeling at all. It was 12.30pm, due to its open-air, the place totally rely on airport's air-conditioning, where it was very hot. They got a few fans but didn't help much.

Ordered their BBQ Teriyaki Chicken Rice, it doesn't taste anything like teriyaki chicken nor bbq chicken, not sweet nor salty and I would say that it tasted weird. The rice was cold and hard. Tried ordering the Malay style fish rice something like that. The fish smelled very fishy and the fish's smell did came out from the kitchen & I didn't had a good feeling about my order. The smell lingered in the place for about half an hour. The fish was very rough & hard, can't even cut open that piece of fish. I supposed that the Malay style fish is something like Asam Fried Fish but it tasted very bland to no taste at all. It was a torture for us to finish the foods cuz we don't want to waste foods.

I accesses through bank card hence did able to order some other food like wraps and sandwiches which are alot more better than those horrible rice meals. I observed that this place doesn't look like it holds a kitchen, and based on how the food we ordered doesn't steam when it served, hot on the inside but cold on the surface, very dry, I can't help but to suspect that the foods are microwaved

Coffee was okay, but my friend ordered an ice chocolate turns out to be just tasting like HL's Chocolate Milk, which tasted cheap.

The only good thing about the restaurant is that the staffs we're helpful & kind, did their best to provide the best...

Come here only if you like some privacy, view and simple eats.

Food: Had to wait for some time before it is served and that's with reminder sent. Ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice but rrally, the bean sprout could use to a proper cleaning before serving. If you ask for a drink and expect it to customised to your preference, ask first before you place the order. The teh tarik i ordered was pre-mixed and it was too sweet to my liking.

Service: Moderate. You have to get a table and place an order from the QR code assigned to the table before making your way to the cashier to pay to confirm the order placement. And mind you, it can be quite a walk.

Atmosphere: Staffs are around and there are only a few occupied tables but dishes are not immediately cleared and table cleaned. I can only imagine how the situation would be like if the place is running on full house, if there is any chance of...

review update. This place was a 5 star. Just came back through KLIA and this place has changed. Limited menu items and no longer has a self service section. It's so sad as this was what I looked forward to after checking in at KLIA. Only visit here if you want a simple local meal or basic wrap and a Coke or tea. Other than that go visit a real lounge.

*Previous review when was a 5 star If you're flying Singapore Air, don't need a shower, and have access to lounge, don't waste your time at Plaza Premium lounge, come here instead. The service, the atmosphere, and the food is fantastic. Nice and peaceful. The food choices are amazing. It's all made to order. If you're in a rush there's also ready made food.
