Rating: 4.5 / 5 stars 🤩 : robust local flavours, good selection 🤧 : a little pricey vs your local kedai kopi
Snatched the opportunity to dine here when I saw that there wasn’t a queue. Typically, Oriental Kopi attracts a queue that can easily stretch an hour long.
As it was only my partner and I dining, we got a table fairly quickly. Food orders are placed through an order chit and paid for at the end of the meal at the counter. Food and drinks were served fairly quickly after the order was made.
Overall thoughts: Curry hor fun was a savoury mess. The curry was thick and rich, the profile leaned a little closer to the sweet side - perhaps strongly influenced by the kicap manis. Kaya butter toast was perhaps perfect. The bread was well toasted and was neither too thick nor thin. They were generous with both kaya spread and the chunk of butter. The egg tart was kind of done Portuguese style and had a shell that was well done. The egg filling was rich and smooth. It was a good balance of textures and flavours but incredibly filling. Cham was a very pleasant and fragrant blend Kopi butter was rich in flavor but certainly a little cloy for breakfast

Read moreWe have 9 adults 1 children and 1 infant, staff here only give 3 menus to us, after we have place the order, the first time is come back to tell us don't have the Chicken Herbal Soup with Rice, and then we change the order to Hainanese Chicken Rice then tell us also no more, ok never mind then we change the order again to Oriental Chicken Hor Fun
Seriously when the food serve is very very disappointed, the soup of Oriental Chicken Hor Fun taste like a people simply cook without any skill or technique, then we also order Peach Gum with Snow Fungus Dessert, Cendol and Mango Sago, all this 3 desserts are very very very sweet which is too too too sweet
Then when the moment i sit down already request for tissue box and until we finish also never get the tissue box for us at all, with this kind of service seriously i don't think Oriental should continue stay at KLIA2, and to be honest Oriental you don't deserve to charge us any of the service charge, i take everything by myself and i ordered Pranks Fried Rice at 7:32pm then only serve it at 8:08pm
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EAT ORIENTAL FOOD AND THE LAST TIME!!! WORST...
