Edit: stop visiting since this restaurant been raising the price several times over 2 years. I been going to another hotpot buffet place. Pay a little more and get so much more. Feifan is now just overpriced for what it is. Quality is subpar.
Pros: Nice hot pot buffet place if you like meat. Beef, pork, and chicken. You have some vege, mushrooms, cheesy balls etc on the side. Unlimited softdrinks and they have an ice cream dispensing machine. Good service, air-conditioned and the restaurant is clean. Birthday boi/gal eats for free 3 days before/after the birthday. You have to bring along at least 3 other pax. Pretty good deal.
Cons: Limited selections. No lamb, no seafood (but you can pay addituonal for a small plate of prawns) The restaurant is always crowded. Session limit (but they don't chase you out, or at least it never happened to me) Space seems a little crammed from one table to the next. Not good during pandemic. A little pricey for what it is. If they can reduce it by MYR5 per head that would've...
Read moreI am writing to formally complain about a hygiene incident that occurred 19/08/2025(around 12:00 PM) during my meal at Fei Fan Hotpot in Setia City Mall.
About 50 minutes into my meal, I discovered a dead fly in the soup. I immediately called the staff over to inform them. However, the response I received was merely that the fly might have “accidentally fallen” into the soup. No further explanation or action was taken by the staff.
Due to this incident, I completely lost my appetite and had to leave the restaurant without even finishing my meal. I am currently recovering from an illness, and this situation has caused me serious concern. If I had accidentally consumed the fly, I could have suffered from food poisoning again.
I am extremely disappointed with the hygiene standards and handling of the situation by your staff. I hope to receive a proper explanation and assurance that such incidents will be avoided in the future.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to...
Read moreI was walking past when the staff there promoting the new single hotpot promo so I was curious to try it out. But when want to choose the tomato soup base need to add on, and drinks also add on. Then they give you red chillies with soy sauce and you can’t take other sauces you like. Who takes those type of chillies with soy sauce for hotpot?? I’m not eating pan mee. When waiter serve the ingredients put it on the other side that I have to get up and move nearer to me… I’m thinking what type of service is this. And it was disappointing to see 2 fishball, crab stick, meat and some other items all frozen. Some cabbage, noodle and egg. Paid over RM40 which I felt overpriced and really not worth it.
Should make it clearer the terms and conditions. Maybe offer Chinese tea for lower price and let customers choose own sauce. Not sure who’s the promo for. To attract more customers or to drive them away. Anyway I won’t be...
