Tony Roma's — Restaurant in Shah Alam

food: the shrimp appetisers was super good PLEASE TRY IF U HAVENT TRIED IT YET. the steak was a bit turn off for me, nothing interesting. im not a fan of meat anyway. i expected something more.

staff: suprisingly, the staff is not well informed about the menu. the waiter that took my order didnt know that the avalanche dessert (or whatever its name) served with hot brownies 🥲 luckily i came with my friend that used to go to tony roma. and then when we asked to bring the next meal eventhough we havent finish the appetiser, he replied with “oh kita mmg lepas masak je akan terus bawak keluar” once, i went to tony romas at jb, the waiter told me that tony roma served their customer like fine dining. but here, the staff said makanan lepas masak je terus keluar tak tunggu ikut urutan lol. and they didnt even have glass placemat (lapik cawan lol) we asked for it nicely but the staff said tak ada and bagi lapik dgn tisu instead. the water dripping down the table 🥲 oh and we also ask the difference between rib sampler and beef rack, but he said “sama je, beza cuma ini dapat 3 ini dapat 4” i dont think so 🥲 i thibk maybe its the sauce or something? hm

for the price i paid, its not a very good experience here. if the staff was a bit more friendly and didnt take our order like sambil lewa macam tu, maybe i will come...

When my friend said he will treat us to lunch, I was kind of excited. Because I have never been here, especially the price beyond my capability.

So I ordered what was suggested with high expectations. With that price, I think it wasn't good at all. The taste doesn't seem right. I think if I do it myself, it will taste much better. For a steak that costs you more than a hundred ringgit, this is not worth it at all.

Service, well, I think they need to improve. 2 of my friends didn't get what they ordered as "it wasn't in the system". Probably the person who took the orders didn't really hear what we ordered. Next time double confirm the order won't harm you. Kesian my friend who has to wait longer.
