Had tried mostly all of their food offered from mornings / afternoons and nights . VERY CLEAN place to dine in .Even the outside compound surrounding drains are maintained as seen the cleaners doing .
1st - Great pharatas fluffy and fresh with a generous choice of curries...Good selection of curries offered consistent and not stingy ... Surprised to see mutton curry served with pharatas . Good vegetables selection in the morning only .
2ndly - YOUR Nasi lemak ...it's scaryly small and pathetic - tiny half egg - tiny anchovies - peanuts - sambal - rm 5.50... (This really pulled your star ratings down) Your fried chicken for Nasi lemak is deep fried in black cooking oil because of the marinades that aren't coated with flour. Instead fried directly as seen clearly from my observation. So the fried chicken pieces looked blackened I will AVOID for now - Period - and will head back to your neighbour which has REAL Nasi lemak at night
3rd- GREAT Apom manis ( hoppers ) Not common in Usj 1 Subang Jaya .
4rd Fairly good hot drinks with added night masala tea and ginger hot tea which is good
5th -GREAT baby lamb shank soup as advertised - no doubts - you can try
6th -Morning Chinese kuih ( local cakes ) - price marked up. Good but outsourced - no comments.
7- Just a standard Mee goreng ...Nice but no wow factor ..Just tasted common and nothing to shout about . Long long way to become a signature to remember it. Not sweet or salty - in between with no cut lime given to me . ( Bland )
8- POLITE well mannered and patient staffs .
9- Two months of evaluation for the variety / quality temperature and taste of food throughout the period from breakfast/ lunch and dinner .
10th Friday May I personally Tried the banana leaf set...with not much amazement to consider trying it again so soon..As mentioned above the morning veg is served back in the evening for the meal set ...So it's still in planning to have it fresh in the evening. Wouldn't recommend the evening banana leaf set ...Not really to die for .

Iāve been a regular at this restaurant for a while because I live nearby, but enough is enough. I kept giving them chances, hoping they would improve, but things have only gotten worse. The service here is absolutely horrible the staff are careless, slow, and completely unbothered about their customers.
Every visit is a frustrating, time wasting experience. Orders are taken wrongly, food comes late, and the staff barely pay attention even after you call them out on mistakes. Iāve personally informed the supervisor multiple times, but nothing changes. Iāve even seen other customers visibly annoyed and walking out because of how bad the service is.
On top of that, the food quality has dropped terribly. Iāve had Maggi goreng served with eggshells in it. How careless can you get? The staff donāt even know what a simple item like papadam is, which shows how poorly trained they are.
The worst part is, during peak hours or public holidays, they are always understaffed but still want to open more tables outside and keep the crowd coming in, knowing well they canāt handle it. Itās irresponsible, greedy, and disrespectful to paying customers.
If youāre thinking of coming here, donāt waste your time, money, or patience. There are so many better places that actually care about their customers. This place...
