The Crackpots Coffee Roaster — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Visited on a weekday. Found street parking down the road. You can even drop off your car for a wash a few doors away and pick it up. lol. This speciality roaster has a vast selection of Arabica beans -natural, washed, honey and other processing. Plus Liberica beans too! Easy piano jazz and large tables, with a bench by the window. A perfect hang for somw work or a good cuppa. which i had, a Kenya doeman geisha over cold milk. Very good mouthfeel, not overly fruity, but a pleasant flowery throatfeel. Smooth, lingering aftertaste....

Ordered Piccolo Latte (Brazil beans), pronounced nutty dark chocolate taste. Delicious! They also had fruity single origin as a choice. Price is average for specialty roasters.

Some cafes I find offputting because of the aesthetics that I find as someone new into coffee, I'm expected to know what to try or I would be judged the moment I step in. Crackpot is different in that the cashier-barista was patient in answering my many questions and I saw the flexibility in the roast options. I would definitely...

Update may 2024: good space for remote working. Good wifi. Toilets are perfectly comfy and clean. Service as always is top notch.

Update aug 2023: visited their new space. Big space, love the minimalist look. Got a coffee recommended by staff. Great service by the barista. Plenty parking available in the area.
