Juara Mutiara Restaurant — Restaurant in Tioman

The Food was alright, the Juice is fresh and good, but I wouldn’t even give 1 star for the Service! The people who work here there are unfriendly as hell if you even get served! The restaurant is randomly closed even when it says it’s open. We had to go to the counter a couple of times, bc the food what we ordered didn’t came and every one else was already eating even if they ordered after us. They are soo lost and rude and didn’t even answered normal questions. When the food came they didn’t even thought about to bring us some Cutlery, so again we had to go to the counter bc the waitress is Ignoring you and annoyed if you want something from her. They told randomly people that there already closed and then served other customers who came later on again. I’m working as a waitress aswell, and I know that the job can be hard sometimes and that you don’t have enough time for small chats and laughs sometimes, but I never in my life had such an bad Service at all! So safe your time and your anger and go...

We came here two times. The first time for regular dinner. We took a mushroom soup and one hamburger. Both terrible. The bun was the typical cheap supermarket bun and they even didn't warm it.. so eating the hamburger it smashed immediately. The soup had no mushroom inside. Then we took some fries to eat something and finally it was good. Second time was for a cake for the reason this seems to be the only restourant with handmade cakes. They have on the blackboard with daily cakes and on the menu several types but both days only one type was available. Vote for the cake 2/5. In the end the problem is not the kind of food but how they cook it. Vote for the food 1/5, for the slow service (no forks, no tissue, no glasses for the water) 1/5, vote for the view 5/5 as almost any restourant of the beach, the location...

Last year this place was lovely and staff was really friendly. Had many dinners and breakfast. This year 2025 everything is changed. First we went for lunch and everything we asked was not available. Same thing next breakfast. Wanted to have some local food, but there was only western food. 20myr for one slice of tomato, 1,5 mushroom, mini croissant and egg. We also tried to get some coffee 1.00pm but they said they don't have time to do it cos they're just finishing buffee and closing. Google says this place will close at 3pm. Aaaaand the next day we tried to get ice coffees again (only good thing we have gotten), there was a sign sayin they have a small break from 1pm to 2pm. It was 4pm but still no service 😆 So if you want to have good food with lovely atmosphere, you should go to next place,...
