We arrived at the port with no idea where to eat. Looking at reviews Ferretti ranked really high. We walked over to the restaurant from our guest house which took around 20 mins. We were a mix of different clothes, including some more casual. When we arrived at the restaurant it looked incredible from the outside and rather fancy on the inside. I walked in to a restaurant with at least 10 free large tables. The greeter (female) came over. I asked for a table of six. She looked us up and down and told us she had no spare tables, except for one on the outside. Basically the one the other diners couldn't see us and feel offended by shorts. At first the service was really good. Our waiter was attentive and knew his stuff. After the order was taken we waited around 15 mins for drinks. We were told there would be bread for the table and about 10 mins later 2 plates of brushetta were brought out (our starter). This was chucked on the table, no context or asked who it was for. Was it our starter or the bread? The other starters came out shortly after. It took around 20mins to clear our table after the starters were done. At this point we were still waiting for bread and glasses for water. I snapped at the new server which came and saw us. This caused a flurry of them to come out and see us in quick succession. 40 mins later we had water and bread... After the food had arrived! The food annoyingly was delicious. Our friends ordered 2 lobster linguine which featured half a lobster plopped on top. Because it was still in the shell, by the time they had got it out, their food was cold. It took another 20 mins for them to clear the table and 30mins to ask if we wanted dessert. We didn't want anything. Rather than bringing our bill, the waiter left. 30 mins later I caught a miserable faced waitress to get our bill. The time ticked on... There was a 16 head table on the inside. The same waitress and waiter were running around after them like blue arse flies. 45 mins later I managed to catch her again. Finally the bill came. £191.10. This was chucked on the table and she ran away. We walked back through the restaurant which had stayed empty all night and gave the money to the greeter. I told her the service was shocking. Didn't care. Unless you are Maltese or local, have proper evening attire, you will not be treated well here. Don't waste your time with it.
Arrived at 8,...

Last summer after going for dinner at this amazing place which we always wanted to visit one day, we asked if they organise weddings. The answer was YES and so our dream wedding became a reality.
We got married at this place and everything ran just smoothly. Many thanks to Rita which is the Manager at Ferretti. We planned from beginning to end with her and rest assured us that everything is going to be perfect for this day.
Together with the bar staff/waiting/cleaning staff we thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. You all work with such dedication - keep it up!!!!
Last but not least, such BIG thanks to the kitchen staff and professional chefs Clive and Christian which surely exceeded our expectations!!!!! The food was one of a kind where they offered such large portions for our chosen finger foods items for our wedding guests. Also food is to die for at this place and would definitely and without any doubt recommend it as a great wedding destination.
Feedback from our guests was so overwhelming and all were satisfied 😊
The destination is quite a unique one and has such a beautiful ambience and also part of Malta's historical landmarks.
I can't stop writing good things about this great place and in order to conclude I must say that if you are looking for a different and unique wedding venue to get married, it's DEFINITELY the right place with all the BEST packages it has to offer.
Thankyou to all the staff...
