Pizza4U Delivery and Takeaway — Restaurant in Hamrun

SHOCKING is the word best to describe our experience :The restaurant was empty with only one siting customer inside and 2 that just left so we proceeded to order 2 pizzas...biggest mistake we did as first we waited for around 30 mins and asked where the food was only to be told that it was coming up or coming down....it took an hour to catch a glimpse of these rare pizzas but hold on....the worst part of it all is that during our long wait a Kebab company turned up to deliver the stacked up frozen meat to this "restaurant"and started putting all the items OUTSIDE on the floor,in the sun right next to the front door of the shop....we were amazed considering the current health climate but what made it even worse is that an employee with a black T shirt with the company logo on it came out 10 mins later to check the stock and did not even bat an eye lid at the fact that the meat was all laid on the floor.I pointed this out to the girl behind the counter as soon as the driver started staking the second piece of meat but it was obvious that she didn't give a flying fig nor did she seem interested.I have taken pics of the whole scenario and i I will post them up if the anyone inc the owners...

Ordered food for delivery 4.5 hours later. Received a call after 1.5 hours saying they are outside. We explained we were not home and the delivery driver became more irritated. He said he would contact restaurant. 10 minutes later we received a call saying that we should have contacted the restaurant stating we wanted it later (which is incorrect as ordered through MaltaMenu and it clearly states delivery for 4.5 hours later when we arrived home) Half way through explaining this the extremely rude man put the phone down. I hope the health department goes in and shuts it down after reading the horror stories of hairs in food and frozen meat being left outside on the floor in the blazing sun for ages. This company and the people working there simply do not deserve your business and your health deserves more during this pandemic!...

It's saturday morning... Actually more like saturday afternoon, and we did not feel like cooking. For the first time in Malta - we decided to order in. After a quick look on google we found Pizza4u. I have only one complaint, the ordering process took me three tries and thereby tripple deduction from my creditcard. And when the order finally got through I was asked to pay in cash.

The food however was perfect! Pizza, chicken, oinion rings and mozzarellasticks - All this for €16! It easily fed three men and it tasted awesome. Maybe next time the ordering and payment will go easier. The whole point of ordering in - was that we didn't want to go out. Instead we had to run down to the ATM in order to get our food - 2,5 hours after we started the process....
