A Beko washing machine bought almost 2 years ago developed a fault after only 3 months. I asked for a new one but they said if they can fix it they won't replace it. Another 4 faults later, finally they accept to change it. They do not have the same model so I have to choose another one which I pay more for (a Bosch). The new machine was delivered last week and it already has a fault! I have now asked them to give me another new one as it is not even a week old and it already is giving me problems with closing and opening and also because between the technician coming to check it 2 days after you call them, then another 2 days or more until they give you a temporary machine (disgusting and dirty) and collect the faulty one to fix it, the loads of washing are in the meantime accumulating plus I have to every time take time off work to wait for them. This time I have asked for the money back (or that they change the machine immediately) because I am very disgusted at the products and the lengthy service and I'm also afraid of getting any other products from them now. I will update this post when I get a reply.
UPDATE: 2 technicians came to view the machine very quickly after my complaint and I thank the Customer Service for understanding my anguish. So apparently the machine was scared of the technicians because it was working perfectly when they came (except it did not start when prompted and needed a couple more tries). It even made a full 15 minute load and the door opened normally in front of them! Anyway sometimes it still glitches and won't start when I choose the program, but I have learnt to switch it off and then on again and it goes. Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience with Top choice regarding a blender I purchased. and after just one month of use, it stopped working. When I returned to the shop to have it repaired under the warranty, I was told by a technician that the unit was no longer under warranty because maybe what I put inside was too hard for the blender (that can crush ice) and that the repair would cost the same as buying a new blender. This was very frustrating, especially since the blender malfunctioned so soon after purchase, and I had been told it would be covered. Despite having all the necessary documentation, including my receipt and warranty details, the shop refused to honor the warranty. The lack of customer service and refusal to address the issue appropriately was very disappointing. I expected better from Top Choice, but this experience has left me very dissatisfied. I will be filing a complaint with the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA), not for the value of the product, but to prevent future clients from experiencing such poor treatment. I phoned to change it and I talked to the boss which is one of the worst people , he was very rude and loud with me after some talking he agreed to change it. I come to the shop to choose another one bigger but 60 inc there wasn't so I had to choose it 65inc and it was 300eur more, I told the boss when they the delivery guy will bring it and take the other one but he disagreed, although I told him that I live alone in the 3th floor without a lift, he insisted that I had to bring the TV with me in order to choose the new 1. I told him that it's heavy and it doesn't fit in the car but the more I begged him the more he was being loud and disrespecting me. It's the worst service from the boss and the worst products.
