Gk Bistro — Restaurant in Msida

Update We found hair on the rice plate we ordered. I confronted with the cashier about the service and the food and she started shouting at me and making a scene though I was very considerate. She said she wouldn’t listen to my complaint/feedback and that I would need to put this in writing online. There’s another catch, they will tell you that all the bad review for CK Bistro is not against them because they are now called Sangrila but then I tried to google Sangrila Malta and nothing came up. Absolute disgrace!!! Avoid the Nepali woman who serves there. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT! Worst Nepali food experience. They don’t have a lot of items from the menu. None of the goat items are available because, according to them, they make goat only on Saturday. We ordered pani puri and it tasted terrible. We asked the waiter to take it back and the waiter mentioned they make the puris in bulk and store them. She said they would still charge me if I ordered sth else instead of the pani puri and won’t just take it off my order.

The waitress is unapologetic and completely indifferent to the complaints. They wouldn’t take the order if it’s something on the menu but would take time to make. They would give random wait time like 1hr-2hr so that the customer would order sth else instead.

I recently visited SANGRILA (GK BISTRO I-MSIDA), and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unresponsive and inattentive. Despite several attempts to get their attention, it took an unreasonably long time to even be seated, even though the restaurant wasn't busy.

Once we finally placed our order, the waiting game continued. The food took forever to arrive, and when it did, it was cold, poorly prepared, and far from what we had expected. Worse still, when we politely pointed this out to the staff, we were either ignored or met with rudeness. They seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns or offering any kind of solution.

The lack of professionalism was staggering. No apologies, no attempt to fix the situation – just a dismissive attitude as if our feedback didn't matter at all. To top it off, the overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming, adding to the disappointment.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for good food and decent service, look elsewhere. This restaurant clearly does not prioritize its customers or care about the quality of...

Few hours ago i ate a india keema dish (13,5 EUR) in this restaurant. I have never experienced that much good souse before. The minus of showing up there at 9 pm is long waiting time because of restaurant full of customers and of my dish wasnt simple to cook I got my dinner after 2 hour present but the unicate taste was my new india experience for me worth to wait that much time. Waiter is so much kind and he works in a decent, focus and fast way. My bill should be 20 EUR but he made my rice and cola can free of payment to conpensate my waiting inconveniences.
