Kebab Factory in Msida serves up one of the most satisfying Turkish meals I’ve had — the food is consistently fresh, flavours are bold, and portion sizes are generous. I’ve visited several times now and always find something that hits the spot, whether that’s their mixed doner wrap, shish kebabs, or a generous plate with salad and sides. The salads are vibrant and crisp, and their meats are cooked just right — tender and well-seasoned.
The space inside is clean and welcoming. After their recent refurbishment, the décor feels more modern and comfortable. There is indoor seating, though it can get busy and a bit noisy, especially during peak hours. Outdoor seating is pleasant when weather allows. Staff are generally helpful and get orders out fairly quickly, though there have been rare moments of slower service when the place is very full.
Prices are reasonable for what you get. For a good quality Turkish meal with fresh ingredients, generous servings, and decent variety, I feel the value is solid. They also offer a wide selection: traditional Turkish breakfast, pide, grills, burgers, and even dessert options.
If there's anything to improve, I’d like a little more consistency in some sauces and a bit more warmth in service throughout busy times. But these are minor quibbles. Overall, Kebab Factory Msida is definitely worth a visit — great for casual dining, take-away, or when you want good Turkish food that...
Read moreSince the day I came to Malta, it was a place that I have been going to for about 3 years, I especially liked the beef doner, but today I encountered such a rude behavior that I bought doner alone and all the empty tables for two people I saw had reseve written on them, I sat at a table for 4 people and when I was about to finish my doner, a gentleman who I thought was the owner of the restaurant approached me and asked to take me to a different place in the middle of the meal, I said that I was already about to finish and that I would get up immediately, this gentleman said to the waiters next to him, what is this, the man came and settled at a table for 4 people. After hearing this, the place is over for me forever, whereas in my company where I work internationally, I come at least 3 days a week with my colleagues, I love to take my customers from Germany and other countries, sometimes it was a place where I came for breakfast with my wife and child, I would not write this comment here if a waiter exhibited the relevant behavior, not a place owner.... For me, the place is...
Read moreSo i‘m from Germany where we have the best Döner in the world, so let me give you a few advices :)
The thing you are selling as a Döner Kebab is actually a Rollo Dürüm. A Döner has different bread, which is making it special. Get that bread and the taste and everything will improve and you will be the clear Nr1 in Malta when it comes to Döners as almost all of the Döner restaurants in Malta only sell the dürüm/rollo version
Before you do anything in the Döner/Dürüm first of all put in the sauces and spread them, this will make the Döner and aswell your Dürüm taste much better.
Allow more than 3 ingredients
always make sure the Döner bread and aswell the Dürüm/Rollo/Wrap is warm, aswell as the cooked vegetables should be warm aswell (but i really like that you have them, that‘s nice, just make sure they are warm)
Hope you will take it to heart as the Döners in Malta really need to improve and i see quite big potential in your company as the meat is tasting truly good...
