"We stumbled upon this delightful pub quite by accident during our coastal walk and were absolutely enchanted. Nestled close to the seaside, this quaint spot has been lovingly managed by three generations of Italians, each adding a touch of familial warmth that makes the place all the more welcoming. A family business that has been running for more than 45 years. Unique decoration and style, inspired by ships and the sea. I love boats and I immediately felt at home in this pub as soon as I stepped in. The owner George and his sons Jean and Pierre do an amazing job to make everyone feel welcome. Amazing selection of drinks, they even do cocktails. They don't serve food, but they have snacks, like crisps and peanuts and such. I love the music that is being played there. Some would call it a pub, some would call it a bar, I would call it heaven. Situated on the main road in Sliema, this little gem offers all you can wish for. A huge assortment of liquor and (draft) beers, a nice atmosphere and wonderfully decorated bar. The bartender is very professional and friendly. I had Lagavullin after starting off with Oban and my wife had white wine. Outside is a tiny terrace with a view of the Mediterranean. This hasn't been the last time I paid Plough and Anchor a visit.
