Knowing Danish, they are quite critical. So, my expectations were high, as our guests recommended the place. While the pizza dough was well cooked, the Pama pizza with extra "gorgonzola" was a disappointment 😞 The gorgonzola was not gorgonzola (refer to photo), and the cheese was not mozzarella. It was bulky and hard. The person who served was more interested in closing up. I will not be able to recommend this place to our guests.
Following the replay from PizzArt, I still maintain my evaluation. Moreso of the so called "gorgonzola". I forgot to attach the photo of the pizza, so I did. You can clearly see on the photo that the extra chees on top of the pizza is not "gorgonzola". I can understand the respond on the closing up, that the option of take away is offered. I did accept this, so that was not the issue, nore ablity to have a table (it was take away) it was the attitude of the person serving that was not pleasant.
Updated Response: It is interesting that you recognise that you do not know me, however; assume my knowledge of food, restaurant, service and Italy is lacking in first and second response. Of course, I do not claim to be an expert on Italian food nor pizza. This said, I thank you for clarifying the ingredients used in your Parma pizza. I understand that Parmesan cheese was sprinkled over the arugula, but the issue is that the taste and texture of what I received did not align with my expectations for either gorgonzola or traditional mozzarella. In classic Italian pizzas, mozzarella is known for its soft, melty consistency, while gorgonzola has a sharp, creamy profile with distinctive blue veining – unfortunately, I did not experience these qualities in the pizza I received. I respect your dedication to importing quality ingredients, and I understand that running a restaurant comes with challenges. However, customer reviews play a crucial role in helping businesses grow. They provide owners with valuable insights into the customer experience and can serve as a tool for continuous improvement, enhanced customer care, and even as a marketing asset when feedback is handled professionally. Rather than responding with emotion or defensiveness, addressing feedback constructively shows customers that their opinions are valued and encourages them to return. My intention was not to be offensive, but to offer feedback that might help refine your service and product. I hope this experience contributes positively to your business going forward.

Read moreWhen it comes to food, I have been observing a trend nowadays to strive for the exclusive, expensive and complex. As with fashion beforehand, food has become more than just the meager satisfaction of needs, but a way of living where "foodfluencer" are always for the lookout of the next big thing!
This pizza place is none of that - but in being so down to earth, welcoming and motivated, it shows what food should really be about: really great food! 🍕
The owners, maybe thanks to their Italian heritage, have created a small Pizzaria in paradise, where the thin and delicious Pizza is brought to you with fresh ingredients and extraordinary taste!
We also ordered the caprese salad, which is highly recommended, and had desert as well: the tiramisu might not look fancy but was in taste and texture the best one I've had since I last visited Italy a few years ago! The Panna cotta with the somewhat bitter passion fruit gave a perfect balance to the sweet panna cotta creme - the whole evening was, albeit rather lackluster in ambience, a trip back to Sicily!
Only thing missing were the heavy hitting red wines, but taking the weather here into consideration, this might have been the better choice - also the place opened up just a couple months ago, so there might still be...
Read moreWOW this is seriously good pizza. It was my birthday while on holiday in Mauritius and after heaps of great Mauritian food I was just craving a solid pizza and Pizzart really delivered, above and beyond! Absolutely delicious, must have pizza! This is better than what we get back home in Australia for sure! Also the price of a pizza was cheaper here than in Australia, very reasonable! This was the best birthday treat, I loved the Miele and my partner loved the Norma! Also the bruschetta was so...
