The Food Factory — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

So was here for a meeting whilst waiting nearly 20mins I had to get the menu myself and get up to ask for my own drinks as the lady waiter was just standing there doing nothing behind the till. Orderd food and waited nearly 1 and a half hours. Orderd 2 steaks and 1 lamb steak. When the food arrived was told they had run out off fries! Even tho we had ordered before other people and there plates had a large amount off fries it was a big disappointment. When ordering was told they don’t have mushroom sauce or mashed potatoes so there was no other alternative for side. If we had been told the situation before the food arrived we would had said ok thank you and found somewhere else to eat for lunch with no problems, however when the food also arrived the steak was definitely not a Angus steak it was she worst and I mean worst cut off beef I have had chewy fatty streaky so would not recommend the steak had to send them back. However the lamb steak was good. But no fries well maybe 5/6 chips so here are the pictures off our meals and how the fries should have come. The very nice man who was our server did remove the 2 steaks from the bill as we didn’t eat them. They need to up there game with better quality meat and better service and keep ontop off there stock there’s plenty off staff there doing what?...

When called they said that we can come. When we reached there they asked us to go outside and wait until they arrange the table. After sitting we had to go get the menu ourselves because no one was available. The server does not understand anything. For steak chips and salad he was repeatedly saying rice by mistake. We were then told that there is no bread there is no pizza. We were left with only burgers as option. We ordered and waited. The blonde hair girl came with our drinks and telling us that there is no glass. She showed us some picnic type plastic cups. After a few minutes she came with glasses that was washed. All glasses were wet and we had to drain the water from it before pouring our drinks. We asked the server when the food will be ready and he said 15 to 20 minutes but we did not see any food coming. After 30 minutes we asked again and he said to wait another 30 minutes. They have a long table at the back. All food is going there. We cannot wait for more than one hour as we had 2 children of 3 years old. After one hour they would start preparing our order which means that we will have to wait for more than one hour so We left. On the parking we met other people who informed us that they did received their burger but their chips came when they already ate and...

Went there at 14.25. Ask the guy how many minutes we can get the food after ordering. Tells Us that in 15 min we should be good. Ordered a burger and a pizza to go as takeaway. We were supposed to pick up our kids on our ways back home as from 15:00. Waited 30 mins and still no food. Every time we asked if our order was ready yet, the guys would say 2 min: Its being cooked. Unfortunately that was not the case. Norhing was on even after 30 min. We had to cancel our order and leave asap as we were late to pick up the kids from their tuitions.

I am not saying that I dnt recommend that place but Business owner should be genuine towards the client. I wanted to eat your food so we paid and waited. We told you and reminded you that we have some tight schedules. Instead of lying you could say honestly how much time it would take.

They refunded our money without any fuss. Which is a good thing. But kindly work on the delivery time. And i would like to add that the place was not overcrowded at that time. Had a few people also waiting. Time was 14.25 on Saturday 25 February.
