A little pricey in my opinion - Around Rs 700 for 1 half and 1 standard with a bunch of boulettes but was very tasty - am happy to pay if its good food
The chicken in the salmi was not very fresh according to me - had a little after-taste
What is the idea of charging people for Chives?? - i understand the bouillon crabe and the chatini extra costs but not the chives
Crowded place - a little bit uncomfortable especially the serving guy does not help - i do not understand the way he talks to clients
Work and crowd pressure is fine but please do not make your clients uncomfortable especially taking note that we are paying for food and service!
Heard him speak to one lady : " Ein fiy..levé levé levé ou bol inn paré ou pu asizé em" Bro are you for real? Your business is working does not mean you have permission to speak arrogantly!

Absolutely loved eating at YES food in Grand Baie! A small snack but bursting with authentic Mauritian flavors. I had the bouille bouillon crabe, octopus, poulet au miel, and kimchi — everything was incredibly delicious and full of local condiments.
The bouillon crabe really brings the heat, so a heads-up for those who can’t handle spicy food — it’s fiery but amazing!
Seating is limited if you’re planning to eat there, so a little trick: if you’re with friends, have one person order while others find a spot to sit. It saves time and ensures you don’t end up standing.
One thing I appreciated is that you pay after you eat — super convenient if you’re splitting the bill.
They serve Coca Cola in glasses and have 0.5L bottled water, but not many other drink options — feel free to bring your own drinks if needed.
Highly recommend for a quick, spicy, and satisfying local...
Read moreOne of the worst "mine bouille" I have ever eaten. The noodles were bland with a little sauce to top it off which didn't do it's task at all. They even charged me for spring onion which is not something other places do and they put a ridiculous amount of long chopped spring onion which was not appealing at all. Plus, the place was full and I had no choice but to eat at the edge of a table and also note that there were lots of flies around the place. If you are searching for a place to eat "mine bouille" in grand baie don't be fooled by the amount of ratings this snack got because I would for sure not recommend anyone...
