🌟 Excellent customer service ~ a perfect balance of friendliness, attentiveness & professionalism. We were given a warm welcome & our waitress made suitable recommendations on the menu for our children, (aswell as local activities & places to visit).

🌟 Decor ~ this cosy cafe is warm & inviting with a blend of South African & Mauritian vibes.

We adored the ~ flat whites & chocolate milkshake (with obligatory 'smore!), french toast & bacon, sourdough & poached eggs, fruit, yoghurt & granola bowl (scrumptious!)& grilled chicken & salad. We couldn't resist a fresh homemade cookie on the way out! (Divine!)

I drove an hour just to try Fynbos Meeting Place—and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it.

From the moment I walked in, I felt a genuine warmth. The staff greeted me like I was a regular, and the cozy, welcoming vibe instantly made the long drive feel like a great decision.

I started with a coffee, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in ages—smooth, rich, and served with care. The food was delicious. Every bite was full of flavor. You can tell they put love into what they serve. Service was quick and friendly, without ever feeling rushed. And the prices? Super reasonable for the quality you get. It’s rare to find a place that nails both taste and value.

After two weeks of Mauritius and staying a week in Flic n Flac I can confidently say: this was our best breakfast / brunch experience.

Food: 5 - What was offered, freshness of avocado and veggies, the option of macadamia milk in my cappucino, the grilled chicken wrap and the cinnamon french toast. Excellent.

Service: actually 6 out of 5. Our waiter was super attentive, carefully took our orders, checked in between and tried to make even special requests a reality (like my mum always orders things which are not on the menu, lol)

Also, there is enough space (we were 5 people), and having a big enough table simply makes the experience even more enjoyable.
