Chili´s — Restaurant in Aguascalientes

Food was exceptional it really was tasty and I know I really missed food like this but I actually truly enjoyed it the services was good and fast also. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was the situation with the server and the tips, see it was me my husband and his nephew and they were engaged in a conversation that he didn’t pay attention when he was asked about the tip on the tan and I just suggested we left it cash, he used his card and walked out leaving me to complete the tip, but towards the end our server asked if we wanted to buy candy to help fundraiser and to feed the needy I accepted and gave him one of my only cash 💵 bills I had so when he came back said here’s your change and if you want to leave a gratuity it’s 10 or 15% and rejected the cash in the table and small change was was less than 10% he also said if you want to, so what was I to do if the only cash was rejected and not appreciated since he wanted his whole amount or nothing? Place and atmosphere is great along with the original service and quality of the food we really enjoyed our sirloins, soups and quesadilla plate but even though our food came with a salad no dressing was served or offered and when we asked for some so it won’t be plain lettuce I noticed they charged us, no biggy until the server told us about the percentage he wanted in tips and rejected our cash tip; it was either the full amount or nothing. Really made us feel uncomfortable never had I seen anyone ask for a certain percentage for a tip witch was actually more than the cost of two of our dishes. Lamentablemente viví una mala experiencia sumamente incómoda con el personal de esta sucursal en particular. Esta fue mi primera vez comiendo en Chili’s de Altaria, y la comida muy rica, el servicio muy amable y nuestra comida llegó rápido. Lastimosamente al momento del cobro de la cuenta, quien nos atendió se portó de muy mal gusto. Dí el monto exacto de la comida, planeando en agregar una cantidad extra como agradecimiento por el servicio, a lo que la señorita que nos atendió respondió con que es “obligatorio” que se dé el 10% de propina incluido al costo total. Chili’s no es un lugar accesible en cuanto a costos, al menos en lo personal. Yo tenía planeado dar 20 pesos de propina, y se que no es mucho pero es lo que podía dar en ese momento, una vez que la señorita recibió la propina, respondió con, y cito: “¿Tan mal los atendí?”. Me quedé pasmado porque jamás, en ningún restaurante o evento me habían básicamente obligado a dar un monto extra por el servicio, ya que como se acostumbra, se da lo que se puede y la propina es todo menos obligatoria. Después de esto, le pregunté que si quería, me podía regresar los 20 pesos, a lo que ella respondió con azotar la libreta e irse caminando. Probablemente sea la última vez que visite este Chili’s en específico, una pena tener que haber sido víctima de un trato así, ya que obviamente no era un tema para nada personal con nuestra mesera, que hasta ese momento, se había portado muy atenta y amable con nosotros. Que bueno que la señorita Alexia o Alexa (no recuerdo con exactitud), quien nos atendió, me dió su nombre antes de tomar nuestra orden, espero que llegue alguien que sí le pueda dar una propina “digna”, para que así se la pueda “repartir entre todo el staff” (obviamente no se la queda usted, ¿cierto?).
