Cocina Casera — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

I stopped by this location as a result of a recommendation from other travelers. We were there for dinner time and selected two items from the entre menu as our choices. I selected the beef short ribs in my spouse selected the seafood fettuccine. Our meals arrived hot and at the same time. As you can see displayed from the pictures, the meals arrived well decorated and pretty. I really enjoyed the beef ribs which were tender and seasoned fairly well. The potatoes were cut into the shape of mushrooms giving me a surprise when I cut into them and realized that they were potatoes. the asparagus and carrots were also seasoned and placed well with the meal. My wife said that she really liked the taste of the seafood and linguine meal...

At the resort at this time and so far one of the worst experiences. Party of 10 for dinner... Waiter had an attitude problem as if he was bothered that he was there working and serving us. All family members commented on the way that he was and all agreed that it was not worth it to eat there again. Ordered a drink, found something in the drink...brought it to the attention of the bartender who scooped out the foreign matter and then gave me the drink back. My question to him was what made him think that was the right thing to do. He grudgingly made another drink... Finished dinner... Not...

Decent breakfast in a very nice setting Both out door seating and indoor seating are nice. The service is excellent, same as most places in the resort Breakfast buffet is very elaborate, although a bit overpriced. We tried al a carte breakfast and that was good and enough food for us.
