Fabric Sushi has been open for 6 months and is a cut above. We love sushi and this competes with some of the best we have had in New York City and Washington DC. Chefs are creative and spot on with their flavor profiles. While they offer many of the traditional rolls and sashimi, they also have a number of innovative twists on popular rolls. Definitely recommend asking the waiter for specials that are not on the menu, eg some of the items pictures are not listed. These specials are fantastic. One of our favorites was a twist on a summer roll, with tuna. We loved the edamame kazuco, which were sautéed in a spicey garlic Vietnamese sauce. Our daughter (not a huge sushi fan) also loved the chicken teriyaki, which had full flavors. Capped off our meal with the tempura ice cream, which was also yummy. Not to be underdone, the service was also terrific. The staff were friendly, attentive, and proactively identified when we needed more napkins, etc. We plan to visit Fabric Sushi again before we leave. Highly recommend people try...

We went to the Fabric at San Lucas, and service was so slow!!! They took more than 30 min to take the entrances. My kids ask for lemonade, they were flavorless. Also I am allergic to white fish, and I ask for some tuna and they said, they don't have tuna, not even for the "tuna spicy" so why they use that name? I asked for a salmon roll, they said they runout of it. So I said to bring me whatever they have with octopus and shrimp with no white fish... Guess what??? They brought me white fish!!! Also after the entrances they took more than 40 min to bring our rolls, and there where only 2 more tables. It wasn't crowded or something to justify the delate The price was high, considering they are using jurel instead of Tuna. I can get better than what I got, in other sushi restaurants and pay less. Honestly, it was such a bad experience. I don't know if it happens also in San Jose, but in San...

If you want to eat with a group and within a reasonable time, DO NOT come here. The food is absolutely incredible but the service is atrocious. It took 3 hours for my family of 15 to get our food and a few dishes never even came. Of course we had a reservation we made hours before the dinner & told them it was a birthday celebration as well.

The first hour and a half we had only received the fried rice. As a local concierge who works for a hotel, has eaten here many times and recommends this place all the time, I will not be recommending it anymore. My family was all starving and hungry and were very disappointed in the evening. The food is delicious but it’s miserable when everyone is starving and some people didn’t even receive their...

After reading the awesome reviews, we tried this restaurant. The Alaska roll, salmon roll, special dynamite roll, and the Philadelphia roll. I almost swallowed a bone (a bigger bone) from one of the roles ( had to fish it out of my mouth). The server said he would get us another roll, I opted not to accept as I was turned off at this point. The sushi itself was decent (keep in mind we ordered all salmon and salmon does not come from Mexico). The service was good, polite and almost too efficient with many visits clearing plates. The music is very loud and it was dĺifficult to have a conversation from across the table. After this, I am sticking to tacos.

Good sushi. Ordered the Eric roll and the Candido roll. Both were delicious, but I preferred the Eric roll a bit more because of the mango and ponzu sauce. The bites were just a little too big to fit in all at once, so that was a bit of a bummer. The music is fit for a hopping dance club, not necessarily a sit down restaurant. The decor is modern and industrial. We were there when there was a birthday being celebrated and the staff did it up right with a firework candle and special song playing in the speakers. Cool place, fun vibe, tasty sushi.

We went twice and had absolutely phenomenal food both times. Asked for specials and got two dishes that were not on the menu, a local fish that I had never heard of. LOVED the rolls without rice, they were superbly fresh, delicious and needed neither soy sauce nor wasabi. The chefs made a special sauce for each of them ......insane! Also, the Vietnamese spicy edamame were amazing!!!! Service was great, friendly and fast. Only thing I did not like was the music, but oh well..... I would go back in a heartbeat.
