Here for half day visit from Cabo and was looking for a lunch spot with scenery and good food. This place came highly recommended on TripAdvisor but not as highly rated on google. Gave it a shot and wow the desert garden (along with 3 cats) was beautiful. There was no one there when I arrived (2pm) but the outdoor seating area started filling up soon afterwards. Went with a dish I’ve been itching to try since arriving in Cabo. Chiles en Nogada. Do yourself a favor and order it. Stuffed green peppers with seasoned mince meat topped with a walnut based cold sauce and pomegranate seeds. Most ridiculous awesome dish I’ve eaten in a long time. The service up until they brought the dish then I never saw my server again and had to call another waiter to ask for my bill to get out of there and catch my bus. They have...

We have been going to lunch at this wonderful restaurant for many years. The food is great, the service is five stars. We loved this restaurant. Today they "played" the classic "our credit card machine is not working". BS. The owner must realize NO restaurant of this historic quality can NOT have a working banking and tax relationship; and can NEVER play dumb about the credit card machine not working today!! I was shocked and not happy. Raise you prices and play your business finances correctly - GET THE CREDIT CARD WORKING ASAP! Not accepting credit cards is the first sign of BIG problems. PLEASE accept credit cards...

Chicken with mole and chille relleños for lunch. Out of this world, fantastic!!! I've never had a chille relleno like this filled with savory mashed potatoes on a bed of refried beans seasoned to perfection. The pepper alone flavors with a touch of sweetness with a touch of spice but not like hot spicy just flavorful. The mole on the chicken was sweet and spicey, but as anyone knows, mole onto itself is a delicacy. These guys knew exactly what they were doing. The chicken is tender and flavorful...if I've not given you the impression that you MUST stop here and eat. Let me spell it out....must stop when visiting...

We stopped by for drinks in early afternoon, so this just reflects drink service, not food. I think it’s difficult to balance expectations with such a beautiful location. My ball glass margarita... heavy on lime, sugar & ice ...wasn’t really a $160 margarita, even with that amount of ice in a region were water is scarce. Service was just fine, just left wondering what I paid for. I think it was the view, but they could just charge at the door for that or note the upcharge in a menu footnote. No mistake, someone cares a lot about this place and a garden like this is years in the making.
