Santos Pecados Todos Santos — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We had dinner here with 4 adults and 6 kids and it was a smashing success with the whole group. They start you off with some chips and salsa. The salsa wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the kids loved it. We ordered:

1. Quesadillas for our two little ones and they loved them. 2)Sashimi Spicy, this was yellowtail with an amazing soy/sesame sauce with serrano peppers also. The presentation was also excellent. (This was probably my favorite dish)
2. Catch of the Day with Tequila sauce, the sauce was delicious and the plate ended up completely cleaned off
3. Caesar Salad, this was a nice change given that we seem to have fewer leafy greens than we would normally like because I get nervous about how well some of the little places we’re eating at clean leafy greens. The only time I’ve gotten sick here in the past month was from a dish with lettuce on it. I wasn’t at all worried about this place and the salad was really good.
4. Crab cakes, these were a really appetizer. Make sure you scoop up some of the two sauces on the plate with your bites because they are a delicious addition to the flavor.
5. Arrechera a la plancha, this was good, but honestly, I would recommend taking advantage of the seafood. It is fresh fresh. They literally were walking in the yellowtail as we were ordering the sashimi and the catch of the day.
6. Mixed Soup, my daughter liked this. She felt the bean soup overwhelmed the tortilla soup, but she liked it.
7. Pineapple Shrimp, this was also really delicious and worth ordering.
8. Gazpacho Salad, this was another great way to get some greens.
9. Special Salad, my wife liked this one and ate the whole thing.

This restaurant has AMAZING food!!!It's very simple looking place but their food is TOP! I make this statement as a person who has above average cooking skills! First thing in Todos Santos was to check all recommended by tourist sites restaurants, just to find on their menus......burgers,chips,pasta, mac& cheese, and other garbage! If I'm in Mexico I want to try some great local cusine ,and if I'm close to the ocean it's mandatory to be seafood. My Mexican GF asked some local guy where the food is good ,and the guy recommended us "Santos Pescados". I ordered the catch of the day which was grilled Red Snapper. It came with vegetables, mashed potatoes, and tequila sause. I'm super picky eater and I had no high expectations ,but the taste of the foood was amazing. We were about to have something to eat at a little more pretentious place around the corner but my husband preferred the menu a bit more at this place. So glad he did because we were not disappointed. Our waiter recommended their shrimp dishes or the catch of the day. I ordered the pineapple shrimp and my husbands the catch of the day. All I can say os wow wow wow! My shrimp dish not only had the best presentation but the flavors that came out of the shrimp was the excellent execution of creativity and blending of flavors. It was shrimp on skewers on top of a grilled pinneaple ring and the center was filled with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. I got a taste of my husbands dish and I was also blown away. We also ordered some cocktails that were great. The place has been opened for 3 months. Hats off...
