Malaya Parrilla de Barrio — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

I had the guacamole and bacon burger with fries it was excellent. My only complaint was the bacon that they wrap around three rings of an onion is three or four layers thick. The inner layers of the bacon do not get cooked well enough and it was very stringy and chewy. Also the french fries were undercooked they needed a couple more minutes in the fryer they were soft and mushy

Tried this place craving a nice steak after weeks of Baja mariscos and tacos. Good location right next to the Chedraui on Colima. Noticeably weak service compared to the usual friendly La Paz reception. Only two other tables seated and about 10 staff loitering around so no excuses there. No prime rib, new york or filet mignon available so I ordered the picana. Out came two quarter inch breakfast steaks. Never seen a picana like that!
