The food here was great. Atmosphere relaxed, wonderful and clean. When you first sit down, they bring you a starter cup of a seafood broth/ clear soup, tostadas, and salsa . I loved my broth. I was told it is made in-house,out of a homemade seafood stock. Try it, I bet you'll like it. 😉

They have menus in Spanish and English in case you out of towners are having troubles. If you dont speak either of those Google lens can translate for you or any other perfered AI app of your choice The staff are kind and patient. I believe Güero is a playful nice way to say gringo/American or whatever. No matter which menu you use the staff is very helpful and will get things explained and your order done to your liking.

I had a Spanish version of shrimp scampi. Lots more herbs, butter, and garlic than the sauce I've had in the U.S..it is just dang delicious here! Two of my friends had shrimp stuffed potatoes, which looked really good. Not to mention, they didn't leave any bites on their plates. As well, the marlin tacos and shrimp stuffer green peppers were also delicious. I would order them all again. Gotta say the main courses are good but all their sides and garnishes are full of flavor too. They have this garlic white rice ball that is put on your plate as a nice garnish, but I swear I could eat a whole bowl of it. Maybe next time, I'lll ask if I can have it as a side. The thing is, the garlic mashed potatoes is already a side and are good, which will make it hard to choose. ROCK !PAPER! SCISSORS! Whatever you choose will be a winner.

The recap is sitting in a open air restaurant with good food and a little live mariachi band in the background. Oh wait, don't forget the cocktails... My mojito was minty, tangy, and great. It's a bit on the small size but very...

I had no idea that eating Marlin fish was an option to consider putting in my mouth, let alone ordering an empanada of one. Unsure of the UNESECO sentiments towards this decision, I decided instead on the Chicharrones de Calimari y Pulpo as a starter. I should have known that was enough and called it quits.. but I just couldn't resist the garlic crab meat plate. It arrived 3x's the size I expected..+rice +potatoes +salad. A bandalero serenaded my meal to the tune of Besa Me Mucho. I cried as I stuffed my face more. Hours later, I prayed so hard that I might live to tell this review, so you could know, for a fact, that there is such a thing as Heaven on Earth so you don't go wasting your life waiting for some final end days bs or 100 virgin poppycock. Order the Marlin & remember...

Food was good. Service not so good. My wife ordered a shrimp cocktail which had about 20 shrimp and was very good. I had the weathered fish taco meal which came with 3 tacos with 6 pieces of fried fish on each taco for a total of 18 pieces of fish. I rather have too much food than not enough but this was over doing it! I was expecting some kind of slaw or something on the tacos. Nope, just fish and tortillas. Made for a very dry taco. Hiding under the tacos there was a green salad made out of stale, brown lettuce. We had to get up and get our own napkins and condiments. Once we got our food, the waiter never checked on us and my beer sat empty for the last 20 minutes of my meal. The entertainment was a guy pulling a speaker around while...

Great value on seafood dishes and it's very good. The open air dining area with fans, makes it comfortable. Lots of drink options. Dishes are hearty meals, my wife had the ensalada de camerones that had to have at least a pound of shrimp in it. I had the empanadas mixtos, which was three empanadas (shrimp, crab, and marlin) plus mash potatoes (quite yummy) and a small salad. So much food, we couldn't finish it all. Dishes are 200-300 pesos each, a little on the pricier side, but its a good value. Afterwards we concluded we could have shared the salad and shared an empanada and that would have been enough.

Decent seafood place. Super large menu with all sorts of different seafood, including several fish, shrimp, oysters, octopus, etc. Makes a very affordable ceviche - also with several recipes. The prices are very reasonable, and maybe 30% less than on the touristy Malecon, which starts maybe 400 meters away. Would have been 5 stars had my shrimp not been half raw (but the bacon they were wrapped in was deliciously crispy!). They recooked the food with no grumblings, so ended up decently with 4 stars. This spot is super popular with locals, so that’s a good vote of confidence.
