Restaurant Bar Costa Hermosa — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We were here in La Paz for a few weeks before we went to Costa Hermosa. Well that was a mistake because we missed out on SO much. Yummy perfect filet, amazing pork shank which we went back and had two nights, great hot dog roasted on the grill, with grilled sweet onions and fantastic spare ribs.Almost forgot the grilled corn on the cob with special sauce, one of my favs. Needless to say this is now our go to place almost every night. As for the owner, Pedro is the best, personality plus he will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your meal, or drinks. We had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful, sweet wife. The service and the girls are johnny on the spot to answer your wants or needs. I love the landscape, very comfortable, beautiful setting. We will miss you Pedro and staff, till we return. The food is absolutely incredible and their service is top notch! The steaks are quality and cooked to perfection. I still dream about the filet mignon. The ribs had me drooling, tender fall off the bone! The tamarindo mezcalita is delicious. From a small table of 2 to a table of 20, they always deliver. In our group of 20, only one person didn’t particularly like the flavor of the special that evening. They promptly brought her a new meal, to which she was very pleased. And out of our 20, only one dish was ordered incorrectly, to which again they promptly resolved. I note both of these items not to give a poor review but rather to praise their professionalism and service when handling such a large table. Guests are always raving as they leave...

The quality of the food and drink is excellent, everyone enjoyed what they got. It got busy and the staff was racing around, and service was slow. My salad and main course were served at the same time, despite me requesting salad first, and it took a long time to arrive, which my friends tell me is not unusual. However it was all very good, and I will go back! Recommended (but make reservations)!

Update August 2025: despite the fact that there was a large wedding party, service was impeccable and very attentive. The lamb was delicious, as was the salad.
