We went there for breakfast expecting a great experience. The restaurant is recently remodeled and looks very good, even the bakery looked like the pastries were great. When we sat down, right next to the wall, there was a cockroach crawling up next to the arch we were sitting by. We should have walked out after seeing that, but we wanted to give the restaurant a chance. We ordered three menudos, a croissant from the bakery, two birotes and 2 coffees. The coffees arrived after 15 minutes of sitting there without any creamer. The menudo arrived first before our coffees, after that our menudo arrived, which was not even hot (disappointing). The waitress came with the croissant with Nutella and it looked like they had microwaved it because it hard after they dropped it off. Next, the waitress came back and told us they were working on our birotes, which we had already waited almost 30 minutes. After we were almost done eating, the waitress came and told us they were working on the birotes and they should be coming out soon. I told her to cancel the order and to bring us the check. After leaving the restaurant, we felt sick to our stomach and my wife had to throw up at the first stop we made. We were really excited to try this restaurant out, but we will not be coming back to eat at this restaurant. This was not what we were expecting and really disappointed...
Read moreMy family and I have been a Menuderia Guadalajara fan and have dined in multiple locations. This location has established a different ambience where it redefined its look and brought coffee and desserts to its menu. I didn’t get to try any desserts, but it looked very good and well presented. The food here was excellent and flavorful. I tried the chipotle chilaquiles and menudo which was great tasty food. The service was great as well, our server had been fulfilling our requests as soon as we got seated. And finally the ambience, it was much different from any other location I’ve visited. This place was extended and has taken part in developing a modernized culture atmosphere. Even though it is becoming part of today’s popular culture, I prefer its own family oriented approach on it being more focused on a classy hole in a wall ambience than an aesthetic appeal. I hope it doesn’t lose its charm and remains focused on its original values. Overall it’s delicious food and new menu additions have made me hooked and I do recommend this location. I...
Read moreMENUERIA IN COLONIA LIBERTAD. TWO WEEKS AGO I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS PLACE 5 START, BUT AM DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED. WENT THERE THIS SATURDAY MORNING AND GOT A PLATE FULL OF MOSTLY LIQUID JUST A FEW PIECES OF MEDUDO MEAT. THE GUY IN CHARGE WHO IS FAIRLY NEW MADE THE EXCUSE THAT IT WAS THE WAY MANAGEMENT SENT THE MEASUREMENTS. REALLY??? I HAD BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON CHARGE OF COURSE BUT NOW I'M NOT GOING BACK AGAIN. THE WAITERS ARE GREAT, THEY ALREADY KNOW HOW WE WANT OUR FOOD AND BEVERAGES SERVED AND ALL THE FIXINGS. BUT I'M PAYING FOR A PLATE OF MENUDO NOT CALDO. IF I WANTED CALDO I WOULD HAVE GONE TO EAT CALDO. HONESTLY THE OTHER PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF THE MENUDERIA WERE MORE EXPERIENCES AND HAD BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO SAD BECAUSE THAT WAS MY...
