Otay Mall — Local services in Baja California

Otay Mall well what can I say? It is a very lonely affair in this shopping center a very unpopular place with very little traffic and mostly empty unoccupied retail spaces. They have done none to very little investment to revamp the place. They have enclosed hallways with ceiling windows to allow for light but also encases heat like a greenhouse at a Nursery in the Saharan desert region so it is no surprise most businesses in that mall have failed. So if you like to avoid crowds this maybe the place to go but their is nothing to do. Unless your doing grocery shopping at Soriana shopping for shoes at 3 hermanos maybe hitting up Sears outlet, or buying hair products at Dax. If your into tactical gear 5:11 might be your store. CEDPT and CFE are hubbed here too so you can pay your utility Bill's as well. If you just moved to the city this is the place to come for your tarjeta de elector at the INE's office. If you need a new cell phone you can visit the Movistar store. Their is always a whole lot of parking because no one goes there. There is also a nice little gift shop where they have great selection of stuffed animals and teddy bears to gift to that special someone....

Difficult to navigate due to the construction, very dusty. Paid parking available which is well organized, clean and great size parking spots but difficult to get into complex if youre not familiar with the area-if you miss exit, will have drive block around just to get in: one way traffic in the complex only.
