I had the worst experience at this hotel. For being the first time in Tijuana Mexico I felt as if they were just trying to take my money. I had reserved for 3 days and the first day for check in I had asked the receptionist if I can cancel one night since I wonât be staying the 3 nights and keep in mind I told him ahead of time before even signing any papers. Well he told me I wasnât able to do that and even if I wouldâve canceled they would still charge the same price.So me as the guest here I thought well he works here and he seemed sure of what he was saying. I called Expedia the second day in the afternoon and they told me they were going to talk to the hotel to see if they can refund me. When Expedia gave me the call back they told me the receptionist said they couldnât refund anything because I shouldâve gone before 2 pm and then they wouldâve been able too. I was mad because since the beginning I had let the guy know and then there telling me that it was possible if I told them ahead doesnât make sense! I donât know if they donât train there staff right or they just hire them just to. I even went down to talk to the receptionist and I told her what happened All she can say is sorry. |||| To top it off the first morning I stood at this hotel I went down for breakfast, i had got the package with âfree breakfastâ at the end the women gave me the receipt and I asked her doesnât it come included and she said no. Ok so I asked her can I speak to the captain or someone whoâs in charge. So here comes the guy he doesnât greet he just comes loud enough that people hear him and says you can pay cash credit or however you can. He doesnât ask me what happened or anything. I felt embarrassed because he made me feel as I didnât want to pay . I had the money to pay but if itâs included why would I. Then he leaves I call him later and Iâm like look it comes included and thatâs when he says oh yeah it happens sometimes let me just take a picture of it.    Read moreHad an awful time getting my reservation. Even though it was paid in advance, the staff didn't even bother to check their system, just immediately said they had no more rooms. I had to call support through the phone and after 30min the hotel manager picked up the phone and gave us the room (which again, I had paid already a week in advance). To compensate for the trouble the manager, who was very kind throughout the process, gave us the breakfast buffet. The room was good, clean and no problems with my sleep.
The next problem was the breakfast buffet, which on sundays, the staff said its extended to 2pm. We went there at 11am and the waiters didn't acknowledge us. We sat down ourselves and got some food, but the utensils have to come from the staff. It took me another 2-3min to actually get someone to bring them. (I should add, the buffet was nearly empty at this point) The food was not getting restocked,; the only thing I saw them bring more of, was the bread. After some time, a waiter finally came to our table to ask if we wanted coffee. The coffee was never brought to our table. We were also in need of napkins during our meal. The only other time the staff came back was to ask for our room to bill.
Overall, I would not return and do not recommend this hotel anymore. 2 big screw-ups on one stay is just too much. The only good thing here was the manager...
   Read moreI stay at this hotel last week for a few days and they still have the same problems.i arrived in the morning around 9:00am and has to wait for over three hours in the lobby with more annoyed guest waiting to check in thier rooms.the hotel staff can't complain about the poor job management team is doing at this hotel but I can.i tried to order a hamburger from the restaurant and the waitress didn't know what a pickle was or a bun.when I received my meal it was all wrong and staff didn't seem to care.they were just laughing and playing like little children in the kitchen.i noticed another guest at the same time refuse to eat her meal.so she got up and walked out on them.i didn't see a manager to complain to about the poor level of service.this hotel has gone to the dogs in the past couple of years.most of the TV channel are all In spanish.you have to carry a bucket down to the restaurant for ice everyday because they do not have refrigerators in the rooms.i still had to remind the maid several times on Sunday to clean my room.my overview is simple if you want a good review from me clean up your act and stop hiring you incompetent friend and family.hire people who know how to cook and clean and...
