Wow! What a cool and awesome hidden gem! We were looking for someplace different to go to have dinner tonight, and my husband pulled this place up on Google Maps ..based on the reviews, let me tell you the reviews do not lie! My husband and I ordered the Parrillada Argentina Which is on the menu is for two people but really it should be listed as closer to like for five or six people. The portion sizes are huge! A variety of meat came out on a metal platter with coals underneath, keeping the meet warm .. it was simply amazing. We had more food than we could possibly eat in the next three days lol.. The server, Daniel was impeccable, timely and super friendly, and his English was very good. He made special recommendations for us not only for the food but also for special drinks. He recommended some sort of Mexican espresso martini (that’s all I remember. Lol) but it was absolutely delicious.. The owner Jerry came by several times to chat with us at the table. He and his wife are the owner and Jerry was extremely friendly and social, and wanted to make sure that we were thoroughly enjoying our visit there which we truly were. We highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be coming back again and again and again..

Location is in the southern part of Rosarito. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with pleasant background music that was not too loud to allow conversation. Our server, Carlos, provided excellent service and gave great recommendations. We started with margaritas, Jamaica for me and Tamarindo for my husband. Both were delicious, beautifully presented and the juice was freshly made. For the appetizer, we had the Queso Fundido con Tuétano which was very good. Carlos recommended the empanadas and although we didn’t try them on this visit, they look amazing. For the main course, we shared the Parrillada, containing various cuts of meat, chicken and sausage served on a table top charcoal grill. Every bite was incredibly delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

I've been on the Carnivore diet for a little over 3 years. I've eaten at pretty much every steakhouse in Tijuana and San Diego. El Gaucho Argentino in Rosarito is hands down the best I've had anywhere in Baja California and San Diego as well. Their meats are amazing! Perfectly seasoned and cooked...you need not add a single thing. I've been their twice and it was better the second time. Very affordable prices, excellent service and the restaurant itself is clean and classically decorated. If you want a killer meat-fest, this is the place. Also, my girlfriend loves the desserts.

We've been driving by this place for a few days, where it looked very appealing from the outside. I did my due diligence, of course, on the internet, and after reading all the reviews, it appeared to me that this would be a great place to eat. Was I wrong!!!!! It was Freaking Awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖

The food was amazing, the atmosphere very cool. Jerry, the owner's husband and Daniel, our waiter were superb. They made great recommendations as far as food and drinks. If you're looking for great food, this is the place to come you will not go wrong.

Okay, this is an update of my previous review. One of my philosophies is that I do everything twice in case the first time was an anomaly. In this particular case, it was!

It just keeps getting better. My wife and I stopped in for our 2nd time in a week. I had a completely different meal and oh boy, what a great experience again! I can not express how incredible it was. I had the best side salad that I've probably ever had, and the service is just absolutely outstanding. If you go here you will absolutely not regret...

Updated review. Make sure to order the expensive items and empanadas because the other items are freaking nasty. The chicken Milanese was cooked in a fryer maybe with I don’t know why. Soaked in oil. Over cooked

Such great service and people, makes the experience so much better.

It's a tiny little place off the main Blvd. I had just driven back from valle de Guadalupe and we were starving. I yelped something new and decided this place over the fancier more expensive Argentinian place down the street.

There's 6 tables and 3 bar stools (which are right by the grill)

I ordered the ribeye sandwich and I should of shared, it was huge. Couldn't even finish it. $150 pesos and my friend ordered the steak and salad. I think like $220 but I still think mine was bigger lol. Sooo good It comes with a ton of grilled onion so if u don't like it let them know.

I also ordered the jamón and cheese empanada and the meat empanada. They were very tasty.

The service was great and they were very attentive. Cash only.

I would defiantly...
