Yummy Yum Sushi — Restaurant in Baja California

So far so good. I wanted some sushi & decided to try the place near our house. Haven’t been here since we have & was my sure what to expect. So far so good.

Im loving the 1 liter beer glass they have. They also smaller options but I was thirsty. Awaiting the arrival of our food. Ordered a couple of veggie rolls & my favorite noodle; the udon noodle with veggies.

they are performing quite well. Delicious flavor & an incredible portion too boot. The most impressive thing is the veggie roll. So many places try to outperform the simplest thing to make. The rice could be a little tastier, more what I’m used too but that’s a personal preference I think. Overall, one of the best veggie rolls I’ve eaten.

Overall, this place is phenomenal. Service is great too. We sat & the bar & the bartender Diego was súper responsive & very kind.

This place is the bomb for sushi innovation because they offer one-of-a-kind mixes that you will not see anywhere else in town. You can find a complete well-suited variety of mixology drinks, craft beer and of course: sushi. The place was very clean and you can trust there is plenty of parking space since it's inside a large plaza. The prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of the food that you will get and they have room for a lot of people to dine inside, for example you can eat near the bar or at a small lounge area with large Windows as well as with a more cozy spot in the upstairs room. I find it fantastic that they have a wall full of boxes with glass that you can see the drinks inside with a lot of locals names and one of them being a well-known foodie from TJ. We were excited to try this place because they have poke on their menu but sad to say it wasn’t anything to write home about. We ordered the Crazy Cat Lady poke bowl which had too much soy sauce that rendered the whole thing just a tad salty. We also ordered the Meo roll and we got mostly rice with little bits of the ingredients the menu said it would have. Although the place is easy to find and the place itself is clean, the waitress who helped us didn’t write down our orders. She asked us to repeat once and then tried to say them but didn’t get them right. Sure enough, our orders came wrong.
