Patroni's Bar — Restaurant in Campeche

Worst experience in peninsula during our trip. We ordered a bottle of water, a bottle of wine, chicken wings as appetizers, a steak and a pizza as main dish. They forgot the water, brought the chicken wings together with the steak and they forgot about the pizza. The steak had a good taste but it was cold, same for the chicken wings. The ‚patatoe’ with bechamel, cheese and bacon ended to be faked mashed patatoes, it was also cold. The marinade on the wings was good (chipotle and habanero) We asked where the pizza is, and they obviously forgot it. After 1 hour of waiting we decided to pay and not to take the pizza. They came with the bill and wanted to charge everything. We would never go back...

It’s difficult to try and describe our experience. Our waiter was ok and took our orders and delivered our beverages efficiently. The food was on the expensive side but tasty. My Asian pasta bowl was flavourful but drowning in way too much sauce. Another waitress was nearby and when I asked her for a spoon she barely acknowledged me but brought one. No smile, no interaction. I thanked her and no response. Then when we were leaving the same gal held the door open. We thanked her and she turned her head and wouldn’t even look at us. We sat down in the warmly lit street of Campeche and we received our drinks one Michelada and one Chelada in quick time, the waiter was quick to take the order and quick to ask if I wanted another drink all while not directly interrupting our evening. I ordered the Deluxe Pizza and my partner ordered the Oriental Fettucine with bonesless chicken. The food portions were great and the quality was excellent all while maintaining competitive but fair prices, would definitely return and really enjoyed...
