We were greeted right at the door and seated right away. The food and service was pretty good starting out. We ordered their smoothies, but the consistency is a lot more watery than I'm used to. The menu seems to mostly be a la carte, but they do seem to have a few "specialty" items like enchiladas, etc, to choose from. The waiter gave us an English menu, which was very convenient! We were content with the visit until we got the check! Apparently, on the English menu the prices were "outdated," and we were expected to pay double what I had originally calculated, based on the menu prices. This was a big shock at the end of our dining experience. The language barrier made it difficult to address this concern, but another helpful, bilingual customer was able to translate for the both of us. There was no manager, and no one left in charge to talk to about the pricing, we were told, so after about 10-15 min of explaining our case, the waiter was able to honor the prices that was on the menus we were given. Perhaps they need to sharpie over or white out the "outdated" prices as to eliminate any further confusion for their English only speaking customers. I was told that the menu is only a couple years old - I cannot believe that with inflation, the prices have nearly doubled in Mexico. It's absolutely ridiculous! Other than the pricing debacle, the food was delicious.

Mexican snack restaurant. It's even in the name of the place. I ate two sandwiches: the Mexican pambazo, and the regular pambazo. The regular one was actually very good, but the Mexican one is a failed experiment. I mean, I've seen other torta places offer a Mexican torta based on the exact same formula (some sort of diced meat, chorizo, refried beans and guacamole) to much better results. Here, I couldn't taste meat in mine. I wouldn't have it again, specially thinking it was the most expensive pambazo in the menu. The service and the atmosphere were great, though. Quite fast, too. Only thing that sucked was my specialty item.

I gotta say that it was worth the taxi drive. After seen the episode with Guy Fiery on the Food Network; I decided to try it on our trip to Cancun. All the dishes that I took pictures of were delicious. I will say that it was out of the way but it was worth of the taxi drive to the restaurant. The food prices were extremely reasonable and affordable for such a big meal. Definitely a places to take a big family. The waiter was very knowledgeable helpful and courteous. All dishes are made from scratch and you can tell in the quality of the food. Definitely a place to returned too!

I stayed in Cancun with my group of friends and we definitely wanted to get out of the hotel zone to get some local cuisine. We were searching YT and saw this location in a video by DDD. We had to check it out!

We were so glad we did and ended up coming back twice. Our group basically ordered the entire menu but here is what stood out to us the most.

-Empanadas which were so crispy and amazing! It was an absolute group favorite. My favorite filling was the flor de calabaza -Chille Relleno -Pambazos -Agua frescas omg do not skip! Our group favorites were the following: watermelon, chaya, pineapple, melon, guava, and papaya.

If you rented a car, you can park on the street. Our group had no issues with street parking. Literally didn’t spot any tourists here and many locals. Make sure you know a bit of Spanish! Waiters were super friendly and patient...

Should really check who you're hiring or train them properly. I sat down and told the waiter I wanted to order for take out, he just snatched the menus from under my hands and left without saying anything. Around 7 minutes later I asked if he could take my order and he just mumbled and pointed to the register. Stood up, placed my order, payed and sat down once again waiting for my food. Then the same guy just comes to the table and tells me to stand up and go out because "other costumers needed the table", as in I'm less worthy than other costumers, apparently. Put up an effing sign, put the checkout nearer to the entrance or properly train your staff to communicate with the costumers w/o being...
