The first time

The MU burger in Cancun is made really nicely. I love the outside area. Makes you feel like in the jungle. We had croquettes con cameron y chorizo for starters. And the delicious Wagyu burger as the main dish. The meet was really good. I took some home and heated it up the next day, but that was not so delicious. Eat it fresh is recommended.

The fries I didn’t like at all. I have ordered without salt and the waiter confirmed. But without comment they put the plates in front of us. And the fries were super seasoned (I assume they are pre-seasoned).

To drink I ordered maracuya and orange juice without sugar. They just brought me maracuya. After I asked the waiter he then told me, that they don’t have orange juice. It would’ve been nice if he told me before and not let me find out by myself. The lack of communication is a real issue here. I guess they just assume you won’t get the difference anyway. This is way I took a star off.

The second time 23.03.22

Everything changed. We ordered exact the same but received something similar but lowest quality. Once so delicious it all changed. The burger was super greasy and burnt! Couldn’t even eat it.

The croquettes looked even totally different and we don’t even want to talk about the taste. There is water on the floor and it’s dripping down the wall, even there were no rain or anything. Anyways, I don’t want to eat here again. A burger for $350 that taste like one for $20 pesos.

The waiter couldn’t tell us why it all changed. I asked if there was a change of staff or owner...

In my home country I really like to eat a hamburger, so I was very happy when I was invited to eat here for a birthday and my last day in Cancun.

What immediately struck me was the decor and style. The building has character and the decoration was chosen with good taste.

What is also very nice are the open kitchen and the bar, where you have a perfect view while making the hamburger.

As a beer lover I was pleasantly surprised that there is a nice choice of artisan beers on the menu.

The burgers came accompanied by a tasty side dish. Some of us chose fries, a salad, baked banana,... These were all very tasty.

The choice of burgers is very extensive and sometimes even special. For example, there was a "bacon jam" on one of the burgers. This was something I hadn't tasted before and I really enjoyed it.

The most amazing burger I have ever had in my life. I'm from Texas and burgers are what we live for here. The restaurant is decorated beautifully.

The staff was great very friendly. My waiter Esteban was amazing he spoke great English and was able to give me great recommendations. He was attentive to make sure I was happy with everything.

The burgers are to die for. Ask to add a fried egg to your burger for even better pleasure. The sauces they provide have amazing flavor. Try the Mac & Cheese too. It has bacon! The drinks were good too if you drink alcohol. The prices are responsible.

I loved it so much I came back two nights in row to get my fix. You must try this place! Thank you guys for such a great experience.

I can't wait to get back to Cancun to eat a burger in Mexico at Mu....
