Fasano — Restaurant in Cancún

We went to Fasano for dinner, a restaurant with mixed reviews! We were honestly nervous because some of the reviews made it sound horrible and we almost changed our reservation. Luckily we didn’t and we quickly realized the people that left the bad reviews are clearly crazy because this place was top-notch!!! They went out of their way to treat us well and the food quality was EXCELLENT!!! Best meal we’ve had in Cancun and we almost missed it because people are idiots and always try to ruin it for others. It honestly makes me really mad so I wanted to be sure to leave an amazing review for them!!! Excellent, excellent place!!! They were so kind and even surprised us with the ice cream at the end for free to celebrate our honeymoon!!! 😍☺️♥️🥰 The waiter was SO KIND!!! We went here 2 years ago and it was great. However, on our most recent trip, we were disappointed to find the change in quality. We ordered 2 quesadillas, with chips and quacamole. The chips were stale with no salt. The guac was a small bit in the corner. The quesadillas looked pretty but were also bland. We went a second time to see if it was a fluke. The second time, the service was horrendous. We came in and waited about 10 minutes without a hello, and so we left.

The steakhouse is part of the resort’s all-inclusive restaurants, and most of the food that’s included — like the salmon and desserts — was actually very good.
