La Mesa del Charro — Restaurant in Cancún

We found this little whole in the wall place. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We had the alpastor tacos and some of the asada( which they call something else), and it was good. The prices were fair. For being in Cancun, it was decent. I was surprised to see patio furniture as dining tables, but it seems to be a thing out in Cancún. So it was more of a culture shock coming from LA. I would come back. It's just very hot to be outside. This place would benefit from having outdoor fans(if it's a thing out there). Before arriving, we thought this was an indoor eating location, and surprised when we arrived, it was outdoors. Parking is not the best, and they do have some parking right across the street and...

I absolutely love this place and can not recommend it enough!!! We are vegetarians and even though these guys don’t have it written on the menu they made us everything vegetarian!!!

We have been here many times now and our server all those times was this amazing guy Rafa! He is very friendly and he would accommodate all our vegetarian food requests! Combining all our visits we’ve ended up ordering almost everything and love their veggie nachos, enchiladas and quesadillas the most!!!!!

We still have a couple days left of our visit here at Cancun and we believe we’ll definitely end up going there for these remaining days!!

It was amazing, the servers were so accommodating of my gluten allergy. They cooked my taco meat and corn taco shells on a DIFFERENT PAN and that is very hard to find. They changed their gloves, the cutting board and were very cautious. They were humble, kind and gave amazing service. Very attentive to us and the food was delicious. I had tacos in Tulum for one week and tacos in cancun for one week and the tacos here were so flavourful and delicious, the meat taste was out of this world.
