If you're looking for an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of the city, Luna Rosa is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the rich aromas of fresh garlic, basil, and simmering sauces that transport you straight to the Mediterranean. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with soft lighting and charming Italian décor that immediately makes you feel like you're dining in a quaint trattoria in Rome.

The menu at Luna Rosa is a celebration of classic Italian flavors, and everything is crafted with care. To start, I had the fried calamari, and it was simply perfect. It was light, flavorful, and the perfect opener to the meal.

For my main course, I opted for the Hawaiian and Pepperoni pizza which we’re so flavorful that it felt like a comforting hug in every bite. The portion was generous, but I couldn't resist finishing every last bit!

Dessert was a highlight — I tried the tiramisu, and it was the best I've had outside of Italy. Creamy, light, and with just the right amount of espresso flavor, it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.

But what truly sets Luna Rosa apart is the service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. They took the time to walk us through the wine list and suggest pairings that enhanced the flavors of the dishes. It's clear that they care deeply about giving you a memorable dining experience.

Un angolo autentico d’Italia nel cuore di Cancún – Luna Rossa

Siamo stati accolti al ristorante Luna Rossa, nella sua nuova sede a Cancún, con una cordialità e un calore che difficilmente si dimenticano. È evidente, fin dal primo momento, che dietro questo luogo c’è la mano esperta di un vero italiano, uno di quelli che conosce profondamente l’arte dell’ospitalità e il valore del servizio professionale. Il personale è attento, gentile, presente senza mai essere invadente: un servizio davvero eccellente, degno dei migliori standard internazionali.

Per quanto riguarda il cibo, si percepisce l’amore per la cucina italiana autentica. Alcuni piatti sono certamente migliorabili, ma nel complesso si è mangiato bene, con sapori genuini e preparazioni oneste. Il punto forte, senza dubbio, è la carta dei vini: ampia, ben curata e con etichette di altissima qualità, perfette per accompagnare ogni portata.

Una menzione speciale va alla grappa friulana “Nonnino”, un vero gioiello servito con orgoglio dal proprietario, friulano anche lui – uomo di straordinaria umanità e passione, che trasmette a tutto lo staff e all’atmosfera del locale.

Luna Rossa è più di un ristorante: è una casa lontano da casa, un luogo dove sentirsi accolti con calore italiano, in un ambiente raffinato ma familiare. Questo nuovo locale a Cancún conferma una volta di più l’eccellenza di un progetto che sa unire qualità, autenticità e cuore. Torneremo di sicuro.
