Vips — Restaurant in Chetumal

Our experience wasn't very good here. I'm giving them 4 stars because they were very busy at the time. And couldn't blame them for everything. A few items we ordered were missed and only came after we were done. The food was okay but no special treat for our group. The club sandwiches were big. But they looked like they had sat under a heating bulb for several hours. Our spanish wasn't very good but normally we get along fine. Not here, this menu is maybe just too fancy. Very hard to figure out what your getting. Since so many meals are similar. We had to wait a very long time for our food. And when it finally came it didn't come together. Again they were busy so I'm giving them grace. The booth we sat in could've used a good cleaning. Grime stuck in all the corners. Overall it was a mediocre experience. I doubt...

Soy de CDMX y asisto regularmente a los vips, tuve oportunidad de visitar esta sucursal hace algunos días para cenar, entré con mi acompañante y el cajero nos saludó, esperamos en recepción a qué nos asignarán mesa y después de unos minutos que volteabamos a ver si algún mesero se acercaba, nadie nos recibió, llegó otra persona que saludó al cajero (que estaba a dos metros de nosotros y tampoco nos dijo nada), el cliente se dirigió a una mesa, (hicimos lo mismo), esperamos como 16 min. a que el mesero nos atendiera como robot, no fue grosero, pero creo que nunca sonrió, después de que nos tomó la orden, se tardaron como 20 min más para llevar los alimentos, pedimos enchiladas suizas, y la verdad no me gustaron, no estaban calientes, el pollo estaba como reseco y aparte predominaba el sabor del pollo que estaba como guisado con jitomate, incluso comenté con mi acompañante ese detalle y coincidió conmigo, como que utilizaron pollo de otra receta para hacer nuestro...
