Al Grano Cafe — Restaurant in Chiapas

Mediocre coffee, but that wasn't the problem. After I had finished the coffee it was cleared away immediately with the question if I wanted another coffee or anything else. A little fast for my liking but okay, but completely unexpected. However to swing by my table every 5 minutes after that to repeat the same question grew annoying quite quickly. Had the place been full and in need of tables I would've understandably paid and left my table, the place however was nigh empty. I will not be...

I have been in town for over a week and have tried coffee in various cafes. I like the flavor at Al Grano the best--enough so that I paid their almost American prices to bring some home. According to the man who attended me, they serve their premium coffee in the shop... I haven't found coffee with this rich a flavor in the US, ever. So, although the prices per kilo may be on the high side for this area, the quality is well worth it...

Overlooking the central square this restaurant has an excellent location.

We ordered a club sandwich and a burrito. The Club sandwich was a bit dry and the burrito was tasteless without character.

The service was good and it is nice just to sit here and observe local life while having a break
